Chapter 1: The Game
Most people consider life a battle -- but it is not a battle, it is a game.
It is a game, however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual
law, and the Old and the New Testaments give the rules of the game with wonderful clearness.
Jesus Christ taught that it was a great game of Giving and Receiving.
"Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap." This means that whatever man sends out in
word or deed, will return to him; what he gives, he will receive.
If he gives hate, he will receive hate; if he gives love, he will receive love; if he gives
criticism, he will receive criticism; if he lies he will be lied to; if he cheats he will be
cheated. We are taught also, that the imaging faculty plays a leading part in the game of life.
"Keep thy heart (or imagination) with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life."
(Prov. 4:23.)
This means that what man images, sooner or later externalizes in his affairs. I know of a man
who feared a certain disease. It was a very rare disease and difficult to get, but he pictured
it continually and read about it until it manifested in his body, and he died, the victim of
distorted imagination.
So we see, to play successfully the game of life, we must train the imaging faculty. A person
with an imaging faculty trained to image only good, brings into his life "every righteous
desire of his heart" -- health, wealth, love, friends, perfect self-expression, his highest
ideals.
The imagination has been called, "The Scissors of The Mind," and it is ever cutting, cutting,
day by day, the pictures man sees there, and sooner or later he meets his own creations in his
outer world. To train the imagination successfully, man must understand the workings of his
mind. The Greeks said: "Know Thyself."
There are three departments of the mind: the subconscious, conscious and superconscious. The
subconscious, is simply power, without direction. It is like steam or electricity, and it does
what it is directed to do; it has no power of induction.
Whatever man feels deeply or images clearly, is impressed upon the subconscious mind, and
carried out in minutest detail.
For example: a woman I know, when a child, always "made believe" she was a widow. She "dressed
up" in black clothes and wore a long black veil, and people thought she was very clever and
amusing. She grew up and married a man with whom she was deeply in love. In a short time he
died and she wore black and a sweeping veil for many years. The picture of herself as a widow
was impressed upon the subconscious mind, and in due time worked itself out, regardless of the
havoc created.
The conscious mind has been called mortal or carnal mind. It is the human mind and sees life
as it appears to be. It sees death, disaster, sickness, poverty and limitation of every kind,
and it impresses the subconscious.
The superconscious mind is the God Mind within each man, and is the realm of perfect ideas. In
it, is the "perfect pattern" spoken of by Plato, The Divine Design; for there is a Divine Design
for each person.
"There is a place that you are to fill and no one else can fill, something you are to do, which
no one else can do." There is a perfect picture of this in the superconscious mind. It usually
flashes across the conscious as an unattainable ideal -- "something too good to be true." In
reality it is man's true destiny (or destination) flashed to him from the Infinite Intelligence
which is within himself.
Many people, however, are in ignorance of their true destinies and are striving for things and
situations which do not belong to them, and would only bring failure and dissatisfaction if
attained.
For example: A woman came to me and asked me to "speak the word" that she would marry a certain
man with whom she was very much in love. (She called him A. B.)
I replied that this would be a violation of spiritual law, but that I would speak the word for
the right man, the "divine selection," the man who belonged to her by divine right.
I added, "If A. B. is the right man you can't lose him, and if he isn't, you will receive his
equivalent." She saw A. B. frequently but no headway was made in their friendship.
One evening she called, and said, "Do you know, for the last week, A. B. hasn't seemed so wonderful
to me." I replied, "Maybe he is not the divine selection -- another man may be the right one."
Soon after that, she met another man who fell in love with her at once, and who said she was
his ideal. In fact, he said all the things that she had always wished A. B. would say to her.
She remarked, "It was quite uncanny." She soon returned his love, and lost all interest in A. B.
This shows the law of substitution. A right idea was substituted for a wrong one, therefore there
was no loss or sacrifice involved.
Jesus Christ said, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you," and he said the Kingdom was within man.
The Kingdom is the realm of right ideas, or the divine pattern.
Jesus Christ taught that man's words played a leading part in the game of life. "By your words
ye are justified and by your words ye are condemned."
Many people have brought disaster into their lives through idle words. For example: A woman once
asked me why her life was now one of poverty of limitation. Formerly she had a home, was
surrounded by beautiful things and had plenty of money. We found she had often tired of the
management of her home, and had said repeatedly, "I'm sick and tired of things -- I wish I
lived in a trunk," and she added: "Today I am living in that trunk." She had spoken herself
into a trunk. The subconscious mind has no sense of humor and people often joke themselves into
unhappy experiences.
For example: A woman who had a great deal of money, joked continually about "getting ready for
the poor-house." In a few years she was almost destitute, having impressed the subconscious
mind with a picture of lack and limitation.
Fortunately the law works both ways, and a situation of lack may be changed to one of plenty.
For example: A woman came to me one hot summer's day for a "treatment" for prosperity. She was
worn out, dejected and discouraged. She said she possessed just eight dollars in the world. I
said, "Good, we'll bless the eight dollars and multiply them as Jesus Christ multiplied the
loaves and fishes," for He taught that every man had the power to bless and to multiply, to
heal and to prosper.
She said, "What shall I do next." I replied, "Follow intuition. Have you a 'hunch' to do anything,
or to go anywhere?" Intuition means, in-tuition, or to be taught from within. It is man's unerring
guide, and I will deal more fully with its laws in a following chapter.
The woman replied: "I don't know -- I seem to have a 'hunch' to go home; I've just enough money for
carfare." Her home was in a distant city and was one of lack and limitation, and the reasoning
mind (or intellect) would have said: "Stay in New York and get work and make some money." I
replied, "Then go home -- never violate a hunch."
I spoke the following words for her: Infinite Spirit open the way for great abundance for ___.
She is an irresistible magnet for all that belongs to her by divine right." I told her to repeat
it continually also. She left for home immediately. In calling on a woman one day, she linked up
with an old friend of her family.
Through this friend, she received thousands of dollars in a most miraculous way. She has said to
me often, "Tell people about the woman who came to you with eight dollars and a hunch."
There is always plenty on man's pathway; but it can only be brought into manifestation through
desire, faith or the spoken word. Jesus Christ brought out clearly that man must make the first
move.
"Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto
you."
(Mat. 7:7).
In the scriptures we read: "Concerning the works of my hands, command ye me."
Infinite Intelligence, God, is ever ready to carry out man's smallest or greatest demands.
Every desire, uttered or unexpressed, is a demand. We are often startled by having a wish suddenly
fulfilled.
For example: One Easter, having seen many beautiful rose-trees in the florists' windows, I wished
I would receive one, and for an instant saw it mentally being carried in the door.
Easter came, and with it a beautiful rose-tree. I thanked my friend the following day, and told
her it was just what I had wanted. She replied, "I didn't send you a rose-tree, I sent you lilies!"
The man had mixed the order, and sent me a rose-tree simply because I had started the law in
action, and I had to have a rose-tree.
Nothing stands between man and his highest ideals and every desire of his heart, but doubt and
fear. When man can "wish without worrying," every desire will be instantly fulfilled.
I will explain more fully in a following chapter the scientific reason for this and how fear
must be erased from the consciousness. It is man's only enemy -- fear of lack, fear of failure,
fear of sickness, fear of loss and a feeling of insecurity on some plane. Jesus Christ said:
"Why are ye fearful, oh ye of little faith?" (Mat. 8:26.) So we can see we must substitute faith
for fear, for fear is only inverted faith; it is faith in evil instead of good.
The object of the game of life is to see clearly one's good and to obliterate all mental pictures
of evil. This must be done by impressing the subconscious mind with a realization of good. A very
brilliant man, who has attained great success, told me he had suddenly erased all fear from his
consciousness by reading a sign which hung in a room. He saw printed, in large letters this
statement "Why worry, it will probably never happen." These words were stamped indelibly
upon his subconscious mind, and he has now a firm conviction that only good can come into his
life, therefore only good can manifest.
In the following chapter I will deal with the different methods of impressing the subconscious
mind. It is man's faithful servant but one must be careful to give it the right orders. Man
has ever a silent listener at his side -- his subconscious mind.
Every thought, every word is impressed upon it and carried out in amazing detail. It is like
a singer making a record on the sensitive disc of the phonographic plate. Every note and tone
of the singer's voice is registered. If he coughs or hesitates, it is registered also. So let
us break all the old bad records in the subconscious mind, the records of our lives which we
do not wish to keep, and make new and beautiful ones.
Speak these words aloud, with power and conviction: "I now smash and demolish (by my spoken
word) every untrue record in my subconscious mind. They shall return to the dust-heap of their
native nothingness, for they came from my own vain imaginings. I now make my perfect records
through the Christ within -- The records of Health, Wealth, Love and perfect self-Expression."
This is the square of life, The Game completed.
Water: Every living thing on the planet depends on it. But if you pause to think about it,
it becomes soon quite clear that the majority of us know very little about water.
If you would consider these questions: Does water have a memory? Can it store and transmit
information? Could it be possible that water is a life form with an immune system that is
capable of establishing balance and right order in other water? Perhaps water doesnt only
exist but actually is alive, in concert with our environment, the planet, the universe.
Can water heal water?
The following excerpts and information are from the work of Austrian visionary Johann Grander,
discoverer of Grander Revitalized Water. Water has a memory. Water is intelligent, much smarter
than air. Water is a cosmic thing. Water has the highest capacity for storing information of
any substance on earth.
The complex, informed and intelligent inner structure of Revitalized water is now getting the

New cost effective solar energy products are on the near horizon. Let's take a look at some of
the promising ones.
MIT reports prototype solar dish passes first tests.
A team led by MIT students this week successfully tested a prototype of what may be the most
cost-efficient solar power system in the world--one team member believes has the potential to
revolutionize global energy production.
The system consists of a 12-foot-wide mirrored dish that team members have spent the last several
weeks assembling. The dish, made from a lightweight frame of thin, inexpensive aluminum tubing
and strips of mirror, concentrates sunlight by a factor of 1,000--creating heat so intense it
could melt a bar of steel.
MIT Sloan School of Management lecturer David Pelly, in whose class this project first took
shape last fall, says that, "I've looked for years at a variety of solar approaches, and this
is the cheapest I've seen. And the key thing in scaling it globally is that all of the materials
are inexpensive and accessible anywhere in the world."
Pelly adds that "I've looked all over for solar technology that could scale without subsidies.
Almost nothing I've looked at has that potential. This does."
Raw Solar
The website Raw-Solar has this diagram explaining the practical application.
A solar thermal dish reflects the rays of the sun onto a small receiver using specially curved
mirrors, concentrating the sunlight 1000 times. The high concentration increases the efficiency
of the energy collection by reducing the surface area for thermal losses. A robust tracking
system keeps the dish pointed directly at the sun all day, maximizing the available sunlight.
Water is pumped through the receiver where the high intensity sunlight heats it to 212-750F
(100-400C), making steam. The steam can then be piped into an existing steam system, such as a
district energy system or food processing plant.
What makes this system special vs. its competition is that it can use small flat flexible mirrors
that can bend in exactly the right shape to concentrate the reflected sunlight on a precise spot.
The materials are all easily produced and the team could put this dish together by hand.
Hot Thin Roofs
Let's now turn our attention to Hot Thin Roofs.
A new solar energy product, thin enough to be built into shingles, may finally make the technology
competitive.
With energy prices soaring, affordable solar power would be welcomed by any entrepreneur looking to
trim the electric bill. Trouble is, power generated by the most widely available technology -
panels covered with photovoltaic (PV) systems, which translate sunlight into AC current - still
costs two to three times more than electricity generated from coal and other fossil fuels. That
may be about to change.
Several startups, including HelioVolt in Austin, Miasolι in Santa Clara, Calif., and Nanosolar in
Palo Alto, are working on a new technology called flexible thin film that's on the brink of making
solar more competitive. Nanosolar has just begun to ship its thin-film solar systems to a German
utility.
Made from pliant sheets of foil, the solar panels can be molded onto roof shingles, which are at
once more attractive than clunky, heavy glass panels and less expensive to produce. In fact, the
cost of making thin film is so much lower than traditional solar panels that experts say it could
produce electricity for about the national average of 10.4 cents a kilowatt hour.
Selling Green
CNN Money is reporting on Selling Green - Making Solar Pay.
Solar energy may be hot these days, but it still costs two or three times more than the power
your local utility provides. SunEdison, a Beltsville, Md., startup, has created a new financing
model that allows solar to make financial sense for businesses.
The roof of Sea Gull Lighting Products' distribution center in Burlington Township, N.J., is
covered with solar panels that the lighting maker did not pay a cent for. They are installed,
operated, and maintained by SunEdison. The company acts as a bank, soliciting investors interested
in a return on solar energy. SunEdison's investors own the solar panels, and Sea Gull agrees to
buy the power.
The problem with the model above is that it requires subsidies to be cost effective. The winning
products in this space will need no subsidies.
Algae Power
Another in the series of innovative technologies in the CNN Money report is on Algae Power.
Isaac Berzin, who founded GreenFuel Technologies in 2001, is working with Arizona Public Service
to scale his process to commercial levels. He has built a small algae farm next to one of the
utility's natural-gas plants. The algae, which grow in racks of plastic bags, feed on the carbon
dioxide in the exhaust of the power plant. The system not only reduces the greenhouse gases
coming from the power plant by 40% but can also produce biodiesel and animal feedstock as a
byproduct without competing with the global food supply.
I find these products exciting and at least two of them seem commercially viable. All of them
might be. And the higher oil prices get, the more economically viable some of these and other
products become.
Raw-Solar's beauty is a simple design using basic components, without the high cost of custom
designed parabolic mirrors. There are plenty of desert areas in the US with huge percentages of
cloudless days where such a system could be commercially viable.
Interestingly, the Bush administration halts solar energy projects on federal lands.
The Bush administration has put a two-year stop to solar energy projects on federal lands in
Arizona and other Western states while it studies their environmental impact.
The U.S. Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Department of Energy will study the impact of solar
energy production and other facilities that could be developed on public lands in Arizona, New
Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California and Colorado.
There are 125 applications by solar energy companies to build facilities on public lands in those
states.
The final analysis will show that the cure for peak oil is high enough energy prices.
Instead, the government sponsored solution was ethanol from corn. That "solution" was a complete
disaster. US biofuel plants are going bankrupt as fuel prices rise at the pump and grain and
fertilizer costs soar. Producing ethanol from corn makes no sense. To make matters worse,
ethanol producers receive a taxpayer subsidy. And finally, tariffs make importing ethanol 3 times
as expensive as it should be.

Many in the government and military sadly feel no compulsion to inform us of when they use us in experiments. Note that a number of these experiments specifically targeted minorities and those in poor areas. History of Experimentation on Human Guinea Pigs
1931 - Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, under the auspices of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Investigations, infects human subjects with cancer cells. He later goes on to establish the U.S. Army Biological Warfare facilities in Maryland, Utah, and Panama, and is named to the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. While there, he begins a series of radiation exposure experiments on American soldiers and civilian hospital patients.
1932 - The Tuskegee Syphilis Study begins. 200 black men diagnosed with syphilis are never told of their illness, are denied treatment, and instead are used as human guinea pigs in order to follow the progression and symptoms of the disease. They all subsequently die from syphilis, their families never told that they could have been treated.
1935 - The Pellagra Incident. After millions of individuals die from pellagra over a span of two decades, the U.S. Public Health Service finally acts to stem the disease. The director of the agency admits it had known for at least 20 years that Pellagra is caused by a niacin deficiency but failed to act since most of the deaths occurred within poverty-stricken black populations.
1940 - Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with malaria in order to study the effects of new and experimental drugs to combat the disease. Nazi doctors later on trial at Nuremberg cite this American study to defend their own actions during the Holocaust.
1942 - Chemical Warfare Services begins mustard gas experiments on approximately 4,000 servicemen. The experiments continue until 1945 and made use of Seventh Day Adventists who chose to become human guinea pigs rather than serve on active duty.
1943 - In response to Japan's full-scale germ warfare program, the U.S. begins research on biological weapons at Fort Detrick, MD.
1944 - U.S. Navy uses human subjects to test gas masks and clothing. Individuals were locked in a gas chamber and exposed to mustard gas and lewisite.
1945 - Project Paperclip is initiated. The U.S. State Department, Army intelligence, and the CIA recruit Nazi scientists and offer them immunity and secret identities in exchange for work on top secret government projects in the United States.
1945 - "Program F" is implemented by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). This is the most extensive U.S. study of the health effects of fluoride, which was the key chemical component in atomic bomb production. One of the most toxic chemicals known to man, fluoride, it is found, causes marked adverse effects to the central nervous system but much of the information is squelched in the name of national security because of fear that lawsuits would undermine full-scale production of atomic bombs.
1946 - Patients in VA hospitals are used as guinea pigs for medical experiments. In order to allay suspicions, the order is given to change the word "experiments" to "investigations" or "observations" whenever reporting a medical study performed in one of the nation's veteran's hospitals.
1947 - Colonel E.E. Kirkpatrick of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission issues a secret document (Document 07075001, January 8, 1947) stating that the agency will begin administering intravenous doses of radioactive substances to human subjects.
1947 - The CIA begins its study of LSD as a potential weapon for use by American intelligence. Human subjects (both civilian and military) are used with and without their knowledge.
1950 - Department of Defense begins plans to detonate nuclear weapons in desert areas and monitor downwind residents for medical problems and mortality rates.
1950 - In an experiment to determine how susceptible an American city would be to biological attack, the U.S. Navy sprays a cloud of bacteria from ships over San Francisco. Monitoring devices are situated throughout the city in order to test the extent of infection. Many residents become ill with pneumonia-like symptoms.
1951 - Department of Defense begins open air tests using disease-producing bacteria and viruses. Tests last through 1969 and there is concern that people in the surrounding areas have been exposed.
1953 - U.S. military releases clouds of zinc cadmium sulfide gas over Winnipeg, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Fort Wayne, the Monocacy River Valley in Maryland, and Leesburg, Virginia. Their intent is to determine how efficiently they could disperse chemical agents.
1953 - Joint Army-Navy-CIA experiments are conducted in which tens of thousands of people in New York and San Francisco are exposed to the airborne germs Serratia marcescens and Bacillus glogigii.
1953 - CIA initiates Project MKULTRA. This is an eleven year research program designed to produce and test drugs and biological agents that would be used for mind control and behavior modification. Six of the subprojects involved testing the agents on unwitting human beings.
1955 - The CIA, in an experiment to test its ability to infect human populations with biological agents, releases a bacteria withdrawn from the Army's biological warfare arsenal over Tampa Bay, Fl.
1956 - U.S. military releases mosquitoes infected with yellow fever over Savannah, Ga and Avon Park, Fl. Following each test, Army agents posing as public health officials test victims for effects.
1960 - The Army Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Intelligence (ACSI) authorizes field testing of LSD in Europe and the Far East. Testing of the European population is code named Project THIRD CHANCE; testing of the Asian population is code named Project DERBY HAT.
1965 - Project CIA and Department of Defense begin Project MKSEARCH, a program to develop a capability to manipulate human behavior through the use of mind-altering drugs.
1965 - Prisoners at the Holmesburg State Prison in Philadelphia are subjected to dioxin, the highly toxic chemical component of Agent Orange used in Viet Nam. The men are later studied for development of cancer, which indicates that Agent Orange had been a suspected carcinogen all along.
1966 - CIA initiates Project MKOFTEN, a program to test the toxicological effects of certain drugs on humans and animals.
1966 - U.S. Army dispenses Bacillus subtilis variant niger throughout the New York City subway system. More than a million civilians are exposed when army scientists drop lightbulbs filled with the bacteria onto ventilation grates.
1967 - CIA and Department of Defense implement Project MKNAOMI, successor to MKULTRA and designed to maintain, stockpile and test biological and chemical weapons.
1968 - CIA experiments with the possibility of poisoning drinking water by injecting chemicals into the water supply of the FDA in Washington, D.C.
1969 - Dr. Robert MacMahan of the Department of Defense requests from congress $10 million to develop, within 5 to 10 years, a synthetic biological agent to which no natural immunity exists.
1970 - Funding for the synthetic biological agent is obtained under H.R. 15090. The project, under the supervision of the CIA, is carried out by the Special Operations Division at Fort Detrick, the army's top secret biological weapons facility. Speculation is raised that molecular biology techniques are used to produce AIDS-like retroviruses.
1970 - United States intensifies its development of "ethnic weapons" (Military Review, Nov., 1970), designed to selectively target and eliminate specific ethnic groups who are susceptible due to genetic differences and variations in DNA.
1975 - The virus section of Fort Detrick's Center for Biological Warfare Research is renamed the Fredrick Cancer Research Facilities and placed under the supervision of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) . It is here that a special virus cancer program is initiated by the U.S. Navy, purportedly to develop cancer-causing viruses. It is also here that retrovirologists isolate a virus to which no immunity exists. It is later named HTLV (Human T-cell Leukemia Virus).
1977 - Senate hearings on Health and Scientific Research confirm that 239 populated areas had been contaminated with biological agents between 1949 and 1969. Some of the areas included San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Key West, Panama City, Minneapolis, and St. Louis.
1978 - Experimental Hepatitis B vaccine trials, conducted by the CDC, begin in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Ads for research subjects specifically ask for promiscuous homosexual men.
1981 - First cases of AIDS are confirmed in homosexual men in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, triggering speculation that AIDS may have been introduced via the Hepatitis B vaccine.
1985 - According to the journal Science (227:173-177), HTLV and VISNA, a fatal sheep virus, are very similar, indicating a close taxonomic and evolutionary relationship.
1986 - According to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (83:4007-4011), HIV and VISNA are highly similar and share all structural elements, except for a small segment which is nearly identical to HTLV. This leads to speculation that HTLV and VISNA may have been linked to produce a new retrovirus to which no natural immunity exists.
1986 - A report to Congress reveals that the U.S. Government's current generation of biological agents includes: modified viruses, naturally occurring toxins, and agents that are altered through genetic engineering to change immunological character and prevent treatment by all existing vaccines.
1987 - Department of Defense admits that, despite a treaty banning research and development of biological agents, it continues to operate research facilities at 127 facilities and universities around the nation.
1990 - More than 1500 six-month old black and Hispanic babies in Los Angeles are given an "experimental" measles vaccine that had never been licensed for use in the United States. CDC later admits that parents were never informed that the vaccine being injected to their children was experimental.
1994 - With a technique called "gene tracking," Dr. Garth Nicolson at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX discovers that many returning Desert Storm veterans are infected with an altered strain of Mycoplasma incognitus, a microbe commonly used in the production of biological weapons. Incorporated into its molecular structure is 40 percent of the HIV protein coat, indicating that it had been man-made.
1994 - Senator John D. Rockefeller issues a report revealing that for at least 50 years the Department of Defense has used hundreds of thousands of military personnel in human experiments and for intentional exposure to dangerous substances. Materials included mustard and nerve gas, ionizing radiation, psychochemicals, hallucinogens, and drugs used during the Gulf War.
1995 - U.S. Government admits that it had offered Japanese war criminals and scientists who had performed human medical experiments salaries and immunity from prosecution in exchange for data on biological warfare research.
1995 - Dr. Garth Nicolson, uncovers evidence that the biological agents used during the Gulf War had been manufactured in Houston, TX and Boca Raton, Fl and tested on prisoners in the Texas Department of Corrections.
1996 - Department of Defense admits that Desert Storm soldiers were exposed to chemical agents.
1997 - Eighty-eight members of Congress sign a letter demanding an investigation into bioweapons use & Gulf War Syndrome.
