"On the back of the human being is a white line that runs from the toes to the
head. In fact, two lines start from the toes, rise along the legs, join at the
base of the spine and then become a single line reaching to the top of the head.
This line is thinner than a hair, and has some knots in it here and there, which
divine personalities help to undo. It is very delicate work and great care has to
be taken to undo the knots. When I hold your head I am untying these knots. I am
also removing other obstacles.
I am looking into every corner of your being. I am looking at everything within
you to see where I can help, where I can give healing and power. At the same time,
I am giving Light to every part of your being. I am opening every part of yourself
to Light. When you are open you will feel and see this clearly. During pranam the
work is on the deep aspect of the being, the soul, while darshan [looking] helps the

DARSHAN TIME

Darling children, to gain concentration in this age of materialism (Kali Yuga),
bhajan is easier than meditation. By loud singing, other distracting sounds will
be overcome and concentration will be achieved. Bhajan, concentration and meditation,
this is the progression. In fact, constant remembrance of God is meditation.
Children, bhajan sung with one-pointedness, will benefit the singer, the listener and
also Mother Nature. Such songs will awaken the listeners minds in due course. If bhajan
is sung without concentration, it is a waste of energy. Bhajan is a spiritual discipline
aimed at concentrating the mind on one's Beloved Deity. Through that one-pointedness,
one can merge in the Divine Being and experience the Bliss of one's True Self.
Sweetness of devotion
Amma says, it matters not whether one believes in Krishna or Christ, Mother Kali or
Mother Mary; a formless God or even a flame, a mountain or an ideal such as world peace
can be meditated upon while singing. By letting the mind expand in the sound of the divine
chanting, each one can enjoy the peace born of one's inherent divinity.
Children, the sweetness of devotion is unique. Only if medicine is applied to the wound
after cleaning it with antiseptic, will it heal. In the same way, first purify your mind
with the antiseptic of devotion to God and then apply the medicine of knowledge.
Sing bhajans loudly at dusk
At dusk, the atmosphere is full of impure vibrations. This is the time when day and night
meet and is the best time for sadhaks to meditate because good concentration can be
attained. If sadhana is not done, more worldly thoughts rise up. That is why bhajan
should be sung loudly at dusk. In this way, the atmosphere will also be purified.
Children, at dusk sing bhajan while sitting in front of a burning oil lamp. The smoke
produced by the wick burning in oil is a sidha oushadha (perfect medicine). We inhale
the smoke and the atmosphere is also purified.

*This is one of our favorite bhajans.
In the beginning years when Babaji came to Herakhan, there were not many people
there
maybe about 17. There was an american woman and only one Indian man who
spoke English. This man was a principal at a school. Baba called him principal Gupta.
One day, Babaji called everyone together to tell them NOT to go to the river Ganga
to bathe in the morning, which was unheard of, as everyone always bathed in the Ganga
every morning. Baba said it would be too dangerous and not to do it until he said it was ok.
To make sure everyone understood, Baba after telling all of the Indians in hindi,
turned to the principal and asked him to tell the american woman in English what
he had said. Then he asked the woman to tell the principal what he had said back
to him to make sure she had understood. Then Baba asked the principal to tell
him back in hindi what he had said to the woman to make sure the principal understood.
So the next morning, no one went to the Ganga to bathe. But they could not find
the principal and everyone was worried. Later that same day, villagers from down
the river brought the body of the dead principal back to the ashram. He had been
whisked away down the river by the forceful storm that blew thru.
When the villagers went to Babas door to knock and tell him, he opened the door
with a big smile and knowing. He said principal now done with body. Baba was
happy because he already knew what would happen and always saw the bigger picture.
Attachment to form creates all kinds of problems for us. If we let go of this
attachment, we are FREE.

HORSES have long awaited for us. They have so much to share and teach us two
leggeds. The wisdom, power and love that horses offer us is a gift to behold. In
this workshop these gifts come alive for us. You will learn thru the best these
Arabians have to offer. You will then be able to share these strategies with your
own horses or any four legged animal, domestic or otherwise.
This class provides hands on healing strategies. Bring your horse! Learn hands
on! Come and reconnect to the healer within or fine tune your healing capabilities.
As per usual, Dr. Nahdion, the 28 year young stallion and my favorite doctor, will
show you how your horses can become healers also for you. The barn will be alive with
energy as Rowan Wind, Nahdions beau, will open your heart and show her healing
skills and as young Annahd, Nahdions offspring shows how even young lively, playful
horses really enjoy and love being nurtured and communicated with using the healing
strategies taught in this class.
As in all the workshops, you will have the opportunity to learn to talk to your
horse, dog, --any four legged critter and receive answers--so that you can be a
better communicator with your animal and (s)he with you
to be able to perform better
and be in better health. It will allow you to be the healer you want to be and allow
your horse to support you as well. Hands on healing techniques are taught and a manual
will be available. There are usually plenty of horses for those who want to learn
this technique which you may apply to your other pets and plenty of horse trailer space.

Greetings!
With August being a month for much celestial activity, there will be a meteor shower
on August 12th. With a bit of a window around its arrival, the evening of the 12th of
August and the morning of the 13th of August will bring forth the maximum of the
Perseid meteor shower. Up to 80 shooting stars may be visible each hour! And then on
August 16th, we will experience a full moon lunar eclipse.
These celestial events will greatly support our arrival into the new and are bringing
with them some awesome and very exciting energy. The total solar eclipse cleared the
way for a brand new beginning. For several weeks before its arrival on August 1st, we
were bottle-necked and sharing space with some very unpleasant energies indeed. The
light of the new had not yet arrived, and much seemed to be going awry with seemingly
out of control denser energies having their way.
The solar eclipse opened the way for a new beginning. It enabled things to begin a forward
movement, for energies to begin connecting again or anew, and even perhaps enabling us to
feel good once again. If we had the opportunity to stay in our sacred spaces, we could
easily now find immense peace, deep sleep, a new protection from these mischievous energies,
and even perhaps a sense that we had completed some challenging, stressful, and deeply
troubling phase. A time for rejuvenation was much needed and thus, this opportunity was
given, if only for a brief period of time before new manifestations began arriving, along
with more energies delivering a very powerful punch, rocking us to the core, in the months
to come.
We had decided at soul levels that we needed a jump start to really get things going. And
thus, the energies of the June 21st solstice really shook things out of their grooves. Not
enough souls were realizing what was truly important to them, not enough change was willingly
being made, and thus, much suffering was incurred by many of our loved ones as they
experienced great challenges. As these energies pushed and released much, panic, anxiety,
and depression became near epidemic. Everything at times seemed haywire and out of control
even the darkness!
When darkness is usurped or pushed out of its groove, it can seem to be everywhere. Thus,
at times it felt as though we were in a deep pit of deeply unpleasant energy with nowhere
to go to bring even a modicum of relief.
But we were given the chance to begin anew, and to begin with much less of who we thought
we were. Having no sense of control or of being in charge, most of July was comprised of an
unknowingness about nearly everything in our lives. Where did we now belong? Where were we
headed? What were we here to do? Who were we, anyway? And where in the heck will our security
now come from? And why were we being beaten up so badly, nearly forced to stay home with
barely a desire or an ability to even put a toe out there?
But now enter the energies of August. Although a rocky road remains behind us, there will
be much more smooth sailing ahead for us, if only for awhile. And know as well that in the
months to come there will be immense shake-ups, much turmoil, and great change. During this
time and the times to come, know that the more we remain out of the mainstream, or stay clear
of what is falling, the less affected we will be. The key is to stay in our sacred spaces and
provide our services from there. I am writing day and night of late, finishing Stepping Into
the New Reality, which explains and gives guidelines and supports for this process. I am
hoping to have this program ready by September. There will also be many complimentary supports
on the new web site when it is ready. The site is going slow, but some changes have already
been implemented within the bones or skeletal system of the site, in order for as many as
possible of you to view it effortlessly with no glitches or problems.
So then, the meteor shower is bringing in energies of fairy dust, like a sprinkling of light
and beauty, magic and love, this cosmic event will only serve to make us feel good. Recharging
our batteries and rejuvenating ourselves through these energies will be ever so possible. We
will have the opportunity to laugh, feel a lightness and joy, to play with our brothers and
sisters, to enjoy having many things fall into place effortlessly, and to feel good once again.
On August 16th, we will experience a lunar eclipse and full moon. During this time, we will
have the opportunity to experience and examine our shadow selves, what is inside of us, what
our fears are, and we may feel and emptiness and rather spooky energy. It may feel that the
light is temporarily gone and that we are only connected to a strange and dark space. We may
not want to be alone then, and thus crave the companionship and connections to others.
When we experience these opportunities to really see the aspects of ourselves that we would
prefer to hide from others, we can feel vulnerable, inadequate, and almost powerless. But by
embracing the energies that these cosmic events are here to support, love them and allow
them to be utilized in their purest form, we can then let them go and move forward once again.
It is then that we have even more gratitude for the love of another, or perhaps are then more
able to see and have love for the seeming inadequacies of our brothers and sisters, as we know
that we are not perfect either.
Yes, we are currently in the eye of the storm, being given a period of rest, beauty,
introspection, and a preparation for what is to come. The energies of August and into September
will allow us to prepare our foundations more securely, to connect more securely to our
loved ones, to begin our new endeavors, and to bask in the beauty of much love and light.
By the time the next energy surge arrives in times to come, which will result in a much more
intense and rapid manifestation of the fall, we will be ever so much more poised and ready
in our brand new spaces. The energies of July were but a precursor for big events to arrive
sometime before the end of the year, but we are being stabilized and anchored now so that
this next wave will not affect us as it would if it arrived right now.
If we can take advantage of these newly arriving energies of late, feel their sweetness and
beauty, allow them to direct us to where we need to be, and know that we are always divinely
protected and watched over, we can then be in alignment with what is being offered to us now.
Bouncing out of the mainstream, out of the spaces which we may have occupied in recent times,
and knowing that we no longer need to suffer, carry the burdens for anyone or anything else,
and simply allow ourselves to be free and clear, we can thus take the road and ride the wave
of what the universe is now supporting us in doing and in being.
We no longer need to carry the planet or to carry anyone who resides upon her. We are free.
We can now leave all of that role and reality behind. It is over. We need not suffer now.
We need not feel or experience the pain of others who are in a very different space. We are
free and clear, and we can go now
..go to our place in Heaven on Earth where we will hold
the space for others to arrive when they are ready and willing to come where we are. And the
energies of late and of the near future will support us in creating and arriving in our very
new spaces.
Wishing you heaven in your heart, starlight in your soul, and miracles in your life in these
miraculous times...

Some of you have heard of them via alternative news but the mainstream media has
done a great job in NOT mentioning Green Party nominee, Cynthia McKinney and her
running mate, Rosa Clemente. Given the Green Party's strong focus on environmental
concerns and strives for social uplift, you can see why mass media doesn't want us
knowing about them...Whatever you decide, at least you'll know there's an alternative!!!

The Greens chose Cynthia McKinney on the first ballot today in Chicago to be the
party presidential nominee. Cynthia then nominated Rosa Clemente to be her running
mate who was quickly approved by near unanimous acclaim.
Born and raised in the South Bronx she is a graduate of the University of Albany and
Cornell University. Clemente is a highly regarded commentator, political activist,
community organizer, Hip-Hop activist, and independent reporter.
Chuck D of Public Enemy says that Clemente 'is one of this generations' most important
political voices and community organizers.'
In her acceptance speech McKinney defined winning as setting a goal to garner 5% of
the national vote which would give the Green Party major party status on the national
level. McKinney made it clear that her run for president is all about building an
alternative to the two war parties. The corporate parties have to flip-flop on the
issues she said 'because they have to appear' to agree with our progressive values
while they then do the bidding of the corporations who pay their freight.
Maine delegates gave McKinney the 5th most votes of any state during the first round of
balloting. Only New York, Illinois, California, and Wisconsin gave her more presidential
delegate votes.
Ralph Nader came in a distant second in the presidential balloting which indicated that
while people still respect him, his day of gaining the ballot lines via the Green Party
across the nation are over. At this point McKinney will be on the ballot in at least 25
states across the nation next November . Greens in other states are still attempting to
cross the enormously difficult ballot status barriers that keep the Republicans and
Democrats from being challenged.
Just after the nomination process concluded 2004 Green Party presidential candidate David
Cobb made a rousing introduction speech of McKinney. It was Cobb, and the Green Party,
that challenged the well-documented vote fraud in Ohio in 2004 that put Bush in the White
House again. While John Kerry, and the Democratic Party, violated their promise to 'fight
for every vote' it fell to the Greens to file the legal challenge to protect
disenfranchised voters in Ohio.
Before McKinney's acceptance speech, a video was played on the huge screen above the
stage in the Chicago Symphony Center with John Lennon singing his song 'Power to the
People.' McKinney has adopted that slogan as her campaign theme and it brought tears
to me eyes to see her dancing on the stage during the Lennon song.
I felt that it was a moment of liberation for McKinney and the Green Party. McKinney
was free of the restraints that come from being a 'good' Democratic Party elected official
where you are expected to toe the party line and not challenge the party orthodoxy. Now
McKinney is free to be herself - to speak truth to power as she so effectively does. In
fact on the podium, as McKinney spoke, was a sign that read TRUTH.
With the nomination of McKinney and Clemente the Green Party is now free to become the
real radical alternative party that it should be - radical in the sense of 'getting to
the roots' of the issues at hand and building the political base to make the needed changes.
The Green Party took a huge step today in the creation of a multi-ethnic party with
leadership from black and Latino communities. This is a must as we look at the coming
demographic changes in America. There will be no progressive movement in America without
active leadership from people of color working alongside of progressive white activists.
To say the least it was refreshing.
I've been a McKinney watcher for years as she was one of the key voices in the Congress
who time and again spoke on behalf of 'the people'. McKinney has been run out of office
twice by the power structure and vilified by the corporate media for having the audacity
to speak against war and corporate domination. I am sure her nomination will be greeted
with scorn by the corporate masters.
For me today was a revolutionary moment. Since working on the Jesse Jackson presidential
campaign in 1984, and seeing the hope of a 'Rainbow coalition' whither away, I've thirsted
for the coming together of the movements. Today's event clearly indicated the enormous
possibilities that exist for revolutionary peace, social justice, and ecological organizing
in the U.S. if people are willing to step into this historic moment.
The change we all long for will not come from the Democratic Party. A new positive and
earth shaking train has just left the station. The question remains will people who see
themselves as progressive have the wisdom to get on-board and not be left behind sorting
through the crumbs left behind by the corporate parties.
