WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Everyone has only one real mission in life:
to awaken from the delusion that they're
separate from everything else.
In fact, this persistent delusion is the root
cause of most of your emotional and physical
problems.
Your present life's condition at this very
moment is your soul's current answer to its
#1 question:
"What has to happen right now in order for
me to wake up to who I am?"
The answer is always "Whatever is happening
right now.

MAY WE AWAKEN TO TRUTH AND CHOOSE TO GO HIGHER IN EVERY MOMENT.
There is nothing holier in this life of ours than the first
consciousness of love ... the first fluttering of its silken
wings ... the first rising sound and breath of that wind which
is so soon to sweep through the soul, to purify or to destroy.
Our inner journey takes us through the following stages relative
to love and fear:
1. UNCONSCIOUS LOVE: When we are born, we exist as pure love
but we are not conscious of our love.
2. UNCONSCIOUS FEAR: Our souls have set the stage for our
evolution. As we grow, unconscious fears arise in our
personalities that draw experiences to us that wound us.
3. CONSCIOUS FEAR: Our wounds bring pain and suffering that
enable us to become conscious of our fears.
4. CONSCIOUS LOVE: When we've suffered enough pain, we are
motivated to move through our fears to consciously experience
the love that supports all.
Love is but the discovery of ourselves in others, and the
delight in the recognition.

The fact is that your daily routine work from morning till night is the
real Kriya Yoga.
The union of morning and evening (that is, the work of your whole day)
is the real Kriya Yoga. The union of that work which is started in the
morning and finished in the evening is real Kriya Yoga. I don't want to
brainwash people; they have already been brain-washed! Those who are
doing the brain-washing themselves do not understand the meaning of
Kriya and Yoga (Union). There is nothing like Kriya Yoga. There is
nothing in this world that is not Kriya Yoga. Perfection in work is
the real Kriya Yoga.
Every action in this world, including eating and drinking, is Kriya
Yoga. The digestive process in your body is Kriya. The process of
uniting any two or more things is Kriya Yoga.
The people of the world are being confused by others. Doing your
own duty perfectly, ADVANCE! GO FORWARD! That is Kriya Yoga, that
is Karma Yoga - by this means only can you make progress.
Perfection in work is Kriya Yoga.
All the scientists now thriving in this world are Kriya Yogis.
Concentrated and meditative people are all Kriya Yogis. There
is no such separate thing as Kriya Yoga. People have been misled
- thousands and millions of people have been ensnared in this
trap. Only that is Kriya which brings peace and happiness and
all kinds of benefits to people. To do good actions is Kriya
Yoga. Worship (Puja) is also Kriya Yoga, worship of any deity
is Kriya Yoga.
You must all do service to humanity, THAT is Kriya Yoga. The
times now demand this of you in this world. In every way, in
every manner possible, do good to others and make them happy -
that is Kriya Yoga. To each individual and to every country,
provide what they lack.
Check in On Your Breathing Now
I just returned two weeks ago from my annual five-day "Free Your Breath,
Free Your Life" retreat at Esalen Institute in Big Sur CA, where I also
gave a 90-minute talk and mini-workshop to the entire Esalen community.
During the retreat, one of the burning questions that arose among the
participants was the question of awakening to our real nature, of being
present to who and what we really are.
To understand the implications of this question it is imperative to
see that so many of us live our lives in a fast-forward mode,
attempting to escape the pain, discomfort, uncertainty, or boredom
of the present moment by dwelling on something in the future that
we believe will bring us meaning and make us happy. Of course,
when we are honest with ourselves, we see that the future always
arrives Now, which we are constantly trying to escape, and so much
of our life is spent fast-forwarding and never really being where
we actually are. In
the midst of this process the question "Who am I?" sometimes awakens
in us. It can come in moments of great shock or suffering; it can
also come in moments of true wonder and joy; or it can arise as a
result of the conscious efforts we make in our lives to live more
honestly. Sometimes it just seems to arise by itself, as a gift from
the unknown.
When the question does arise in a serious way, one way to support its
flowering is to check in on your breathing and allow your awareness
to move inward with your breath--to begin to experience yourself as
a breathing being. For the process of breathing is a living metaphor
for understanding how to expand our narrow sense of ourselves and be
present not just to the miraculous energies of life that are both in
and around us but also to the deep silence and spaciousness out of
which these energies arise. By checking in on your breathing you are
actually getting in touch with a deeper, more conscious dimension of
your own being.
Allowing your breath to take you deeper inside yourself, however,
takes practice (I show many approaches to this in my recent book
"Free Your Breath, Free Your Life). So check in on your breathing
right now. Allow all the sensations of your breath, all the internal
and external movements related to how you are breathing now, to
enter your awareness. See if you can discover a quiet, non- judgmental
place in yourself from which you can discern which parts of your body
your breathing engages. Just be aware, without any attempt to manipulate
your breathing, of what your breath feels like and how this awareness
influences your sensation of yourself. How do you feel right now?
What, if any, new perceptions are arising? Without coming to any
conclusions, what does this experience tell you about who you are?
And, perhaps even more important, who or what is aware of all this?
Who or what is able to see and listen to what is actually happening?
As you continue to explore yourself in this way, you may notice, though
it will probably seem somewhat uncomfortable at the beginning, that the
question "Who am I?," a heart-felt question that opens you to the unknown,
releases, at least temporarily, the constricting egoic prison of habitual
thoughts, beliefs, feelings, perceptions, and sensations that you
identify with and take to be yourself. And, if you remain quietly
alert, simply following the many movements of your breath, you may
notice the precise moment when identification with your ego
consciousness--your self-image-- returns again, instantaneously
shutting out any sense of the unknown. It usually comes in the
form of mental or emotional judgments, such as "I've done this
long enough," "I think this is silly," "I'm not learning anything
new," "I've got something very important to do now," and so on.
In the name of what you refer to as "I," all exploration ceases,
and you begin the fast-forwarding process again.
Catching a glimpse of this process of identification (or attachment)
is a moment of real freedom. And once you have seen your own form of
identification clearly, and allowed the significance of your inner
slavery to your thoughts and emotions to penetrate into your
consciousness, you will begin to notice "identification" more
and more often in your life. It is this "noticing" that will help
you awaken to your real nature--pure welcoming awareness. It is
this awareness that will bring you into the miracle of Now, where
you can experience the full miraculous breadth of the breath of
life moving through you.

It could not have been long after humanity learned to have power
over fire that they discovered that simple fragrant wood, resin,
herbs, or roots can do more than produce pleasing aromas. The first
forms of incense were simply fragrant plants tossed into fire, and
it was only later that pastes, oils, powders, joss sticks, and cones
were created. Incense has soothed, excited, aroused, and centered
us for thousands of years. The people of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India,
Greece, and Rome all consumed great quantities of incense, using it
for rituals in their temples and homes. Even today, incense is
used for a number of spiritual and practical reasons.
Fragrances can affect us in many ways, and each aromatic has its
own unique qualities. Lavender holds the power to quiet the soul,
while sandalwood can ease feelings of anxiety. Patchouli is helpful
for grounding and centering yourself. A single stick of incense
can convey up to a symphony of fragrances. When burned prior to
or during meditation, the fragrant smoke can direct the course
of your thoughts and influence the rhythms of your body. The
time it takes to burn the entire stick of incense can even act
as a natural timer. You can also offer burning incense as a gift
to the divine while performing a ritual.
There are no right reasons or wrong ways for you to use incense.
In the Chinese tradition, burning three upright sticks of incense
can give you insight into what the future holds. Enjoying a cone
of smoking incense also can simply add sweet fragrance to a room.
And should you choose to light a cone of lavender incense after
a long day of work, you may find yourself effortlessly relaxing
into the quiet arms of the night.

"I am that I am"
Exodus 3:14
Hello readers! Last time we spoke, I discussed a few biblical quotes,
and our divine heritage and right to receive all that we ask for.
I did however, leave you with a promise that their would be a part
II. A promise that I would discuss the missing variable in the
equation of attraction.
I am that I am (Hebrew: pronounced Ehyeh asher ehyeh) is one
English translation of the response God used in the Bible when
Moses asked for his name. It is one of the most famous verses
in the Torah. If you ask many religious scholars, they will state
that the statement made by God, is that God exists within each
and everyone and by himself. He simply is. So before this turns
into a study of religion, let's extract the key element.
The name of God was revealed thousands of years ago. We speak it
many times a day, and we very rarely realize it, if ever. So the
missing variable in the equation of attraction is this. I AM. I
know, that might seem a little anti-climactic. But think about
what we do with these words on a daily basis. When you say something,
with the words "I am" preceding it, you are basically saying "The
god in me is. . ."
"I am sick"
"I am tired"
"I am angry"
"I am lonely"
Those are just a few examples, but when you call upon these two powerful
words, this name of God, you are not only declaring to the universe
your vulnerability, but you are in fact reaffirming it. A mistake,
wouldn't you think? And then we have the other extreme. Taking the
sacred name of God, and flipping it. Let me show you.
"Am I pretty?"
"Am I fulfilled?"
"Am I abundant?"
So these are just some of the flipping of the sacred name of God.
Now take these last three examples, and make them correct in the equation.
"I am pretty!"
"I am fulfilled!"
"I am abundant!"
Now that we have made aware the two biggest "mistakes" that are made
when using the power of the voice and throat chakra, there is one
more way, to make sure that your affirmations are not only true for
you, but powerful too. When you are asking the infinite universe,
the infinite source for all the abundance that you deserve, be sure
that you are speaking from a place of Love. This is not new. This
has been taught for thousands of years. It is the root of the secret.
You never ask out of fear. You never ask out of desperation, or
worries of not having. If you ask in those ways, the I AM in you,
will attract those very things.
This truly is the law of attraction. By integrating and understanding
the I AM as an essential variable in the equation of attraction, you
will find not only do your intentions come into manifestation quicker,
but you will find an even deeper knowing of the I AM in you.

Women who force themselves to stay quiet during marital arguments
appear to have a higher risk of death, a new study shows. Depression
and irritable bowel syndrome are also more common in these women.
Such "self-silencing" during conflict may have provided an
evolutionary survival advantage long ago, and unfortunately
may be a necessity for women in abusive relationships, Dr.
Elaine D. Eaker of Eaker Epidemiology Enterprises in Gaithersburg,
Maryland, the study's lead author, told Reuters Health.
Eaker and her colleagues found that, over a 10-year period,
the most striking finding was that women who self-silenced
were four times more likely to die than women who expressed
themselves freely during marital arguments.
The current study is the first, Eaker says, to look at
behavior, heart disease and mortality in the context of
marital relationships. While many studies have looked
into marital status and quality and heart disease, she
added, "We had some other questions that I think get more
at the dynamics of how people really feel in a marriage,
what actually happens in a marriage."
Eaker and her team looked at 3,682 men and women participating
in the Framingham Offspring Study, most of whom were in their
40s and 50s at the beginning of the study. Study participants
were followed for 10 years for the development of heart disease
and for death from any cause.
The study confirmed that marriage is good for men's health -
compared with unmarried men, husbands were nearly half as
likely to die during the follow-up period.
The researchers also found that men whose wives came home
from work upset about their jobs were 2.7 times as likely
to develop heart disease as men with less work-stressed wives.
It's possible, Eaker and her team suggest, that a wife's
problems on the job could be upsetting to a husband because
he is unable to "protect" her in this arena.
"Attention has been focused on the changing roles of women,"
they note in the July/August issue of Psychosomatic Medicine,
"the changing roles and expectations of husbands/men also
need to be scrutinized and understood."
The findings underscore the importance of healthy
communication within marriage, Eaker says, although
she does urge that other researchers confirm the results
"before we make a lot out of them."
Nevertheless, she concludes, "both spouses really need to
allow another person a safe environment to express feelings
when they're in conflict," both for their own health, and
for the health of the relationship.

Studies Shows Device-Guided Paced Breathing Lowers Blood Pressure &
Peripheral Resistance
RESPeRATE demonstrates sustained effect on blood vessels
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- May 26, 2006 -- American Society of Hypertension --
Booth #2412 -- May 16, 2006 -- InterCure, Ltd., today announced new
findings demonstrating the mechanism of action of its FDA-cleared
hypertension treatment device, RESPeRATE.
Details from four new studies were presented here at the American
Society of Hypertension' s 21st Annual Scientific Meeting (ASH 2006)
in New York.
The studies directly showed a reduction in the resistance of narrowed
blood vessels to blood flow (peripheral resistance) and lower blood
pressure.
The mechanism study, led by Dr. Kyung-Hoon Choe, from Wonju College
of Medicine in South Korea, measured Systemic Vascular Resistance
Index [SVRI] and other hemodynamic parameters, heart rate, and blood
pressure of 22 hypertensive patients.
The patient group was part of a 70-patient multi-center study using
RESPeRATE for fifteen minutes a day throughout an eight week period.
Overall, patients experienced a significant blood pressure reduction
(average) of 12.6/5.3 mm Hg (P <.001) without a change in heart rate.
Furthermore, peripheral resistance as measured by SVRI in the subgroup
tested was significantly reduced from the baseline to end values,
3309 οΏ½ 702 vs. 2898 οΏ½ 621 dyne sec m2/cm5, respectively (P <.001).
"The practical implication of our findings is significant, " said Dr.
Choe. "This direct physiological evidence gives us further confidence
that the device lowers blood pressure and treats one of its most
significant contributing factors." Narrowed small blood vessels are
a primary factor in elevated blood pressure, as they increase the
resistance to the body's blood flow and make the heart pump harder.
Over time, this overloading of the heart and higher blood pressure
can lead to heart failure, rupture of the vessel walls in the brain
(stroke), eye damage, kidney failure and other life threatening
conditions.
A separate study presented at the conference evaluated the blood
pressure lowering effect of RESPeRATE in the diabetic population.
The study is a randomized controlled study of non-insulin dependent
diabetics with uncontrolled systolic blood pressure.
The interim analysis of 60 patients demonstrates a significant
difference in systolic BP change between the treatment and control
groups (-9.5 οΏ½ 1.9 vs. +2.1 οΏ½ 2.4 mm Hg, P =.0002). Reduction
of pulse pressure was significantly higher in the treatment group
compared to control (V5.9 vs. +3.6 mm Hg, P =.0007). Greater
systolic BP reduction was found to be significantly correlated
with the total time spent in slow breathing guided by the device
(P =.01) and no side effects were observed. Diastolic BP,
initially controlled in both groups, was further decreased.
