"The Earth is beautiful. If you start living its beauty, enjoying its joys with
no guilt in your heart, you are in paradise. If you condemn everything, every small joy, then the
same Earth turns into a hell. It is a question of your own inner transformation. It is not a change
of place, it is a change of inner space. Live joyously, guiltlessly, live totally, live intensely.
And then heaven is no more a metaphysical concept, it is your own experience"

Hello Beloveds, we had a lovely World Peace Breath Meditation. In our conversation for coming up with
an Intent, we talked about involvement with the Peace Movement and how people come to this movement
with all of their stuff. Without an owning of their stuff and a willingness to address it, it gets
in the way of the Intention for Peace.
Recognizing that it does no good to make anyone wrong, we also desire to place our energy where it will
have impact. Choosing to focus on our own inner peace is a good place to start, except for one thing.
Peace and what it means to some people may have a completely different orientation for another
much
like being happy. Happiness also has every variety of definition for different folks. What do Peace
and Happiness look like for you? And do you need to have others agree with you on how you live Peace
and Happiness?
We came to agree that embodying Peace is beyond misinterpretation. If we are embodying Peace, then this
is what we shall magnetize and project. We do not have to convince or teach Peace then, because we ARE
PEACE. And we do not need to be attached to whether others agree or not, so we can transcend right and
wrong.
With this discussion in hand, we came to this Intent for World Peace for the month:HUMANITY IS MY
EMBODIMENT OF PEACE THRU HARMONY AND SERENITY WITHOUT ATTACHMENT.
Please join us the first Sunday of each month. We gather at 3 pm rocky mountain time, we take time to
share, and breathe using BBL -VFF breath/meditation and then we usually have a fabulous baked goodie.

Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would
determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was,
"Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?"

Where do animals fit into this Gigantic paradigm shift
Published in The Edge: Exploring the Evolution of Consciousness, June 2004
It was early fall in the Uintas Primitive Area in Utah. Fourteen year old Bryan was hunting with his father and several other men. Somehow Bryan got separated from the group. The men searched for him to no avail. Wearing only jeans, a T-shirt, and light jacket, Bryan grew cold and frightened. Night fell, and rain turned to sleet, then snow. As he huddled at the base of a pine tree, he was frightened by loud snorting sounds He peered through the branches of the trees, and there, coming toward him were two huge female elks. They came near and sniffed him, then turned and left. Although Bryan was afraid they would return, he began suffering from deadly hypothermia and drifted off to sleep. He could have died under those conditions, but Bryan woke up the next morning. In fact, he woke up in more ways than one.
When he awoke, he discovered to his amazement and awe that the two elks were lying on either side of him keeping him warm. They had saved his life. Seeing he was awake and safe, the elk folks trotted off. Soon after that, the search party, led by dogs, found Bryan. At first, no one believed Bryans story, but then they looked at the tracks and impressions in the snow where the elks had lain protectively beside Bryan, and there was no doubt. It was later that Bryan shocked them all by declaring that he would never hunt again. How can I possibly take the life of another wild animal after two wild animals saved my life? he asked.
We are awakening to such realizations ourselves as we journey within this chaotic birthing that Pierre Teilhard de Chardin calls a new humanity coming into form. We are becoming conscious of our true nature and liberating ourselves from centuries of old cultural programming. We are witnessing and taking part in the collapse of the old anthropocentric paradigm of dominance, control, exploitation and destruction. Out of the mud, we see the rising of the lovely lotusthe new world-view of compassion, cooperation, unitive communion, and reverence for life.
Where do animals fit into this gigantic paradigm shift? How does this affect them, and how does their journey intersect with ours? As children we have historically been allowed to love all animals. However, this natural sense of kinship is soon put tp sleep in most cultures. Because the dominant paradigm, within which we still live, proclaims that the world is a competitive and violent place in which one must be powerful in order to survive, we are taught early that we must ignore the suffering of those we dominate and exploit. Empathy for them weakens our resolve, and so it must be eliminated. In a fear-based culture, there is no sense of interconnection with the Universe or with other beings. There is no sense of God-within-all. There is instead a drastic and terrifying disconnection. This deeply ingrained belief system is, in fact, one of the roots of our human tendency to remain unconscious, to respond automatically to our programming. Bryan broke out of his programming as a young hunter who was being diligently trained to not feel empathy. The elk people awakened him and reopened his heart to his connection to all beings.
As Edge readers, most of us are experiencing more and more periods of conscious awakeness. Yet we are waking up to truth in the midst of a world that is still operating on the principles of fear. Each day we, like Bryan, find ourselves in situations that call for new responses, not old programmed reactions. As our inner growth sparks us to express the love in our hearts, we find ourselves questioning authority at every turn. As we see the damage being done by traditional medicine, industry, politics, education, etc., we find our hearts longing to do our part to create new ways of being in this world.
As we open our hearts to the animal nations, we are questioning the centuries old assumptions that we have the right to use animals for entertainment, for clothing, for experimentation, for slave labor, and for food. Those assumptions have caused the most horrific mass suffering, extinction, and slaughter of animals anyone could possibly imagine. As we embrace our sacred interconnection with the entire Universe, as we begin to see God in every animal, leaf, and stone, we realize that we are one with all. As such, we can no longer eat, wear, or exploit our friends of the animal nations, our fellow travelers on this fascinating road to the new paradigm of compassion, peace and love.
We are becoming Homo Ahimsathe gentle, compassionate human. We are living in Jump Time, as Jean Houston calls ita time in which we have the chance to elevate our nature from the most violent species on earth to a species that lives in a constant state of amazement and wonder at the miracle of life. What great joy lies ahead for us and for the animals as we stop looking at them as commodities for our use and begin working together with them to awaken the world to love and reverence for all life.

The Food Revolution: How Your Diet Can Help Save Your Life and Our World by John Robbins.
How does this mass prayer differ from what we are familiar with? "The prayer that we are talking about transcends religion and science and mysticism. It is based on reincorporating human feeling into our relationship with the world. Now, rather than feeling like helpless observers, we have the opportunity to participate in events as they unfold."
The ancient Essenes used the qualities of thought, feeling and emotion to describe how we experience life in this world. Emotion is the power system that drives us forward in our world each day, and that power system has no direction until it is guided by our thought. The union of thought and emotion is feeling. The Tibetans were very clear to distinguish between their prayers and the chants, mantras and mudras they used to get themselves into the right feeling for prayer. They said that their prayer has no outward form because prayer is feeling.
That is interesting because quantum science is now suggesting that human feeling is the way that we move from one quantum outcome to another. Somehow human feeling is related to the outcome that we experience individually and collectively. What we now have is a "technology of prayer," which implies understanding how to do a thing and repeatedly get the same outcome. That is precisely what we are finding as we create specific qualities of emotion and thought in our bodies. That gives us repeatedly and predictably a feeling which Isaiah says is how we choose which outcome to experience at this time, good or bad.

Prayer has become a new cottage industry. Within the last five years the New York Times has listed as best-sellers at least a half dozen books extolling the value of prayer in some form. Cover stories have appeared in popular magazines like Newsweek, and television programs such as "Dateline NBC" have devoted entire shows to this subject. In particular, physician Larry Dossey in his Prayer Is Good Medicine: How to Reap the Healing Benefits of Prayer (1996) and Healing Words: The Power of Prayer and the Practice of Medicine (1993).
2001 National Day of Prayer was on May 3. America celebrated its 50th annual National Day of Prayer in cities all over the country. People who believe in the power of prayer filled churches, crowded courthouse steps, surrounded city hall flag poles, joined together in the workplace and assembled in public parks. President Bush talked about the role that prayer has played in our country's history. "Our country was founded by great and wise people who were fluent in the language of humility, praise and petition," Bush said. "In this house, I make many decisions. But as I do so, as I make those decisions, I know that many Americans lift me up in prayer." Prayer is our communion with God, whether it be a petition made to God, worship, repentance, praise, or thanksgiving. It doesn't have to be a laid-out patent prayer, but words from the heart. Whatever your personal beliefs or religious proclivity you can find people of a kindred spirit in prayer.
We all live, move, and have our being within the Infinite Divine Intelligence we call GOD. It is aware of everything including our thoughts, feelings, prayer, our loves and hates, and all the things we do. It unconditionally allows all things and events in Life in order for the human race to learn the RESPONSIBILITY in the proper conduct of LIFE. It KNOWS that in the end, nothing is ever lost, while the average person maintains the fear and worry as to where the next meal may come from, or whether he or she will survive the storm, the tempest, or the ravages of violence and war.
Quantum Physicists such as Bohm and Pribram have discovered that the only time atoms behave as particles, are when we are looking at them ( observation). When we look away, or when we are asleep, everything around us are wave forms of energy and light. The wave form of the atom cannot be measured by any conventional means of measurement as we know it. The strange phenomenon of the wave form /particle behavior of the atom indicates that the material realm we live in is not as material as we think it is. The wave form of the atom has also shown properties of being in two places at the same time. It does not follow the known laws of physics. This is the realm of Spirit, or "Energy".
As most of us know, everything in our "material" realm is composed of atoms, the things we can see, smell, hear, taste, and touch, including our own bodies. What many of us are not aware of, is that atoms do not always behave as particles but as wave forms of energy as well. Wave forms are the things that cannot be seen by our eyes. Wave forms are "Mental" in nature and is the essence of atoms that compose undifferentiated matter which is also energy or SPIRIT in nature. This mental aspect of the wave form, is that atoms have shown properties of being "intelligent" as each atom knows its position in the order of manifestation and is "aware" of the relative position of other particles. Every particle that exists in the Universe, contains the image of the whole which is characteristic of a hologram. If this is a Truth, then all of manifested life and being emanates from a single source of causation that would include all particles existing in the Universe. It means that everything from sub atomic particles to giant galaxies and everything in between contains information of the whole.
A hologram is created when a laser beam is split into two separate beams by a beam splitter. One beam, called the object beam, is bounced off the object. The object could be anything. The second beam called the interference beam is allowed to collide with the reflected light of the object beam and creates an interference pattern that can be recorded on film. The interference pattern recorded on film looks a lot like a series of meaningless concentric circles. If another laser light, or bright light was shined through the film, an eerie three dimensional copy of the original object would appear.
If we were to cut off a small piece of the film that contained the original image of the film, and shined a bright light through it, we would again see the whole image of the original object in three dimensions. Each piece of film contains the image of the whole, but as the pieces of film are cut into smaller pieces, the three dimensional image becomes fuzzier. This is a phenomenon that is typical of our multi dimensional universe.
What is this strange phenomenon telling us? Are all of us humans, like the small cut off pieces of film that contain the image of the whole? If this is true, then we possess the image of the Creator and all of us are part of the whole and at-one with it. It would mean that all the information about the Universe is contained within all of us. Is this why we can explore and uncover things about the Universe because that information is already within all of us? Is this perhaps the reason why man can mentally extract knowledge regarding the Universe without leaving the seat of observation on earth? Is education perhaps a discovery about what is already known to the subconscious Mind? Quantum physics tells us that our prayers are received by divine Infinite Intelligence. During this time It imperative that all of our minds, bodies and souls are focused in prayer on Peace and healing for the planet.
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive (them), and ye shall have (them).

it, to see it in its right light, requires divine illumination,
a spiritual outlook on life. And this outlook is attained

Mastery Through Accomplishment
Omega Press, 1978
Dear friends, many of you are coming to greater levels of detachment. You are less entangled with the
world and other people. You still care. You still help another if you are guided to do so, but you get
less drawn in. You keep your center. You relax, you breathe. Let us tell you a story:
In India monkeys are caught by putting nuts in pots that are chained to a pole. The monkey smells
the food and sticks his hand in the pot. Once he has the nuts in his hand, he does not want to let go.
Now, he could easily release his hand if he let go of the nuts, but he does not want to. So he keeps
his hand in a fist and can't get away. He is caught.
FEEL THE EMOTION AND STEP BACK
Similarly you get caught by the world. You too grasp things, people, ideas, concepts and you get
attached to them and you get caught. It seems as if the world has caught you, but if you go really
deep and look at the whole dynamic, you will see that you hold on to the world. So what is the answer?
Detachment. For many of you, it has been happening gradually-deeper and deeper levels of detachment,
of relaxation, of not grasping. The more you can let go, the better. Relax. Breathe. Let go. Give up
the struggle. Relax.
This does not mean that you suppress your emotions. If something is upsetting, let the upset be there.
Feel the anger or fear. Feel it but also step back and say, "This too will pass," for it will. Relax.
Breathe. Go for a walk. Step out of the drama not by suppressing but by breathing. Breathe. Relax.
When you feel very caught up in something, breathe. Breathe, dear ones. Become aware of your body,
your feet; get grounded, breathe. If another is pulling on you, inviting you to some crazy dance,
sever the cord. Relax. Breathe. If someone on TV tells you the world is coming to an end, relax,
breathe. Change the channel. Do not buy into the drama.
"I AM THAT I AM" IS REAL
"Nothing real can be threatened" is a phrase from The Course in Miracles. Real refers to
consciousness, being who you are. You are who you are, the internal I Am. No one can take that
away. Breathe, dear ones. As you release old beliefs such as, "I have to be involved here," or
"I feel guilty about so and so," or "I need to take on this person's fear, anger or despair,"
you start to become more free. What is freedom? It is the ability to breathe and to say, "I am
that I Am. I need not feel guilty or afraid, and if I do, I can breathe my way through it. Eternal
consciousness is always there. I am that I Am."
Now, you don't need to explain the "I am That I Am." You don't need to justify or even understand
it. "I am that I Am." Period. Enough said. Why? Why is no explanation necessary? Because it is not about
thinking! Your I Am is not something you thought up like your job or your role as wife/mother or
husband/father. It is your being. "I am that I Am" is beyond thinking and beyond justification. What
is there to justify? You are who you are. On that level, there is nothing to justify. On the level of
duality, on a practical level, sometimes you have to justify. "Why were you late with your rent?" "Why
did you not finish the project at work?" Practical matters are not in any way diminishing your "I am
that I am," and in 3D rents have to be paid or, if they cannot be paid, you need to work out an
arrangement.
If you can stay in your I am that I Am, this center, this stillness, you can act with less fear;
you can just go and do what needs to be done. You need not discuss in your head why you are bad for
not paying the rent, why your landlord is bad for charging it or why your parents are to blame for
not teaching you about money or your boss for not giving you a raise. You just cut through all that.
You go to the "I am that I Am," you align with higher will and talk to your landlord to find a
solution. No one is to blame. Your landlord is an "I am that I Am," the same consciousness, really,
the same perfection. If you approach him with that knowledge, he will respond likewise. He will come
from his center and look for a solution rather than blame you for being late. Try it. Play with it.
See people as "I am That I Am," as consciousness, as perfect right now. This is not the personality
but the inner core. The personality does its thing. That is fine. Go to the core.
GO INTO EASE
So relax. Being in the I Am is not about tension. Consider it to be fun, easy, in flow. Yes,
integrating higher energies has been hard on the body for many of you, but relax, go into the I Am
and breathe. Try to operate more from ease. Operate like a well-engineered car that drives safely
and gently with power and ease, not the kind of car that makes lots of noise, the car that has to
tell everyone, "Watch me, I am shifting gears now. Can you see me shifting gears? Oh, how much work
that is! See how hard that was? See that?"
Go into ease. If you are in the habit of exercising strenuously, take a break from hard exercise
for a week. Try to move your body with ease. Dance. Try it. Go back to your aerobics if you like it,
but also try some gentleness, some ease. Many of you grew up being told to work hard. Some of you
rebelled against it. Try to do things with more ease. What if that contract does not come through?
Relax. Let go. Ask the universe for help. Align with higher will. Align with flow. Go to your I Am.
What if I am in flow but the person I am dealing with is not?
Relax. Step back. Step back mentally, maybe even physically as well. Relax. Breathe. Let the other
person do his or her thing. Let us say you are selling a sweater. The customer says, "I don't know
which one to take. This one is nice, but that one is less expensive. Maybe I should come back." Just
let that person relax. Like a wheel that has momentum, let it run out. You stay in your I Am, whether
the sweater gets sold or not. Be there, present and detached. Know that the other person too is an "I
am that I Am." Know that and keep a distance. Feel your feet, breathe. Chances are the customer will
calm down, relax and get closer to his or her I Am. You don't have an agenda. You are just there,
relaxed. You are not trying to make a sale. You are not trying to prevent a sale. You are in something
much more attractive: neutral.
BEING IN NEUTRAL
Neutral is like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. It is like a breath of fresh air. It is new. It
is alive. It is space, stillness. So you are doing your spiritual practice while that sweater decision
is going on. You are radiating peace even though you are not doing anything to radiate it. It comes
through neutral. It happens when you center, breathe. Highest good will happen. Sweaters will be bought
or not bought. Maybe the sweater will make someone very happy and warm. Maybe money needs to be saved
and your customer will notice that as stillness comes into his or her awareness, "Ah, I'm in debt
already. I better skip this purchase." Highest good is there to be played out.
I don't know what highest good is.
No, and that knowledge that you don't know what highest good is, is crucial for your next step in
awakening. To be comfortable with that knowledge is important. Think on this; play with this concept.
But I need to plan my life.
And you can, step by step. But be flexible. What seemed like the right decision one day might change.
Trust the I Am. It will inform you. Our love is with you all.

Martha Beck, in her book The Joy Diet, said the difference between wildly successful people and total failures is that wildly successful people fail a lot more. Indeed, they fail a whole lot more. While total failures let the fear of failure; rejection and fear of life itself stop them from taking action to create the life they desire... successful people, on the other hand, know that fear and failure are a part of life's journey. They take action in spite of their fear and in their failing they move one step closer to creating their vision. They don't allow failures to stop them in their tracks but rather use them as the foundation to build their road to success.
The fact is that we will all have fear in any thing we do. Fear is engrained in us and something that will never be extinguished. The answer then is to build our trust muscles and grow our trust. The larger our trust grows the smaller, in comparison, our fear becomes. Our trust muscles lift us up when we get knocked down. They keep us moving forward when we fail. They help us take our first step in a new endeavor even when fear says, "Don't do it."
The same trust muscles that move a baby to walk for the first time, with the knowing that no matter how many times I fall I will eventually reach my destination, is also available to you and me. We just have to use these trust muscles and like all muscles, the more we use them the stronger they become. Just as you would lift weights to build your physical muscles here are a few exercises to make your trust muscles grow big and strong.
1. Say the following trust mantra throughout the day, "I trust that great things are happening." With each statement imagine your trust growing and your fear shrinking.
2. Make friends with failure. Each time you fail ask what you can learn from the failure and identify how you can become stronger, better, and wiser because of it.
3. Have your trust talk to your fear. When you feel fear imagine it is like a small child and your trust is like a big adult looking down at the small child. Your trust is in charge. Allow fear to say what it thinks and feels. Hear the child-like nature of fear. Then have trust tell fear the way it's going to be. Trust is the boss. Trust knows where to go and trust leads the way.

I laugh at people who say: "Oh, I'm too old to learn that." Really? They cite - as an excuse - "You can't teach an old dog, new tricks!" Poppycock! It all depends on whether the mind is willing. You see it is so easy to use age as an excuse. In the end it is just that - another excuse.
When are you gonna stop kidding yourself?
Recently my local newspaper carried an article about a Mexican woman - Albina Cruces Vazquez. This lady has only just retired as a schoolteacher at age - wait for it - 102. She has worked 85 years continuously in Guanajuato State. In 1947, she founded the Eduardo Noveo Primary School then ran the school for - wait for it again - 58 years.
Ms Vazquez was asked about her retirement and told the reporter this:
"I don't want to go into retirement but it is time to give way to some new ideas." WHAT?
She is moving on with her life. At 102 she is taking up another profession. Do you think 102 too old? How old are you? Still think you are too old?
You are only as old as you think you are. I have known 20 year olds who behave like pensioners. I have also personally known octogenarians who belie their age. They are still full of life and wonder with eight decades behind them.
So, let me ask you... what are you doing? Do you think you are too old? Ever thought of starting with something fresh just to keep you on the ball?

"Frequent breath holding is not only unhealthy (and often leads in the very next moment to excessively fast, upper chest breathing) but it also reveals a fundamental disharmony in the way that we experience ourselves and the world. Holding our breath is very often the nervous system's way of helping us listen for potential danger, of putting us on high alert for something that may threaten us.
Take a moment now to imagine yourself alone in your bed late at night. Suddenly you hear an unexpected sound someplace in your home. What happens inside your mind and body? The first thing you will probably do is hold your breath so that you can better hear whether danger is present. You will probably also sense tension throughout your muscles, as though you are preparing to take some kind of action.
In today's world, filled as it is with instant communication from around the world about all the dangers that we face, many of us, for the most part unconsciously, now listen for danger night and day, and so we hold our breath a lot and are filled with tension. We need to see this mechanism in action in ourselves. So next time you catch yourself holding your breath, before reacting to this by breathing again take an inner snapshot of your entire body and mind. Notice what tensions, emotions, and thoughts are acting on you. This can all be done in an instant--through presence. Being present to what is actually happening inside you will help free you from these tensions, emotions, and thoughts, and you will effortlessly find yourself breathing in a natural, spontaneous way again."

DANCING WITH DEATH THRU SENILITY INTO ETERNALITY
by Young Toni Delgado
We have been conditioned to believe that senility is a
frightful place because we believe it is the end of
our productivity as a being. We believe it is the
experience that precedes death and we are loathesome
to it. Senility can come to an individual at any time
in their lives. It does not just occur to the elderly.
It can happen in your thirties or younger.
What is important to know is that it absolutely can be
overcome! I have done it! Leonard Orr and Sondra Ray
and others have done it. Leonard says that senility is
the final exam of the human condition. That sounds and
feels right. You must however, have the tools and
psychological preparation to outlast it. Read my book
and learn how.
