healing
Vol 57 -Addendum- June, 2005
In Truth, Simplicity Love and Service
FEATURES:
June 3rd is Saga Dawa, a day in the Tibetan tradition
where all meritorious acts are multiplied 100,000
times.
Actually the period from May 20th-June 17th is called
"Bum Gyur Dawa" or the 100,000 multiplying month, so
anything virtuous gathers a ton of merit during this
period.
It is also good to dedicate that merit to all beings.
Don't look for peace. Don't look for any other state
than the one you are in now; otherwise, you will set
up inner conflict and unconscious resistance.
Forgive yourself for not being at peace. The moment
you completely accept your non-peace, your non-peace
becomes transmuted into peace. Anything you accept
fully will get you there, will take you into peace.
This is the miracle of surrender.
When you accept what is, every moment is the best
moment. That is enlightenment.
- Eckhart Tolle
"To finish we would like to suggest that the focus of
any directed healing be based on the prayerful and
loving intention to facilitate an end to the illusion
behind the suffering that holds people in conflict
with each other and the Earth and in opposition to
their spiritual nature, and that we are never so
arrogant or self-denying to leave ourselves out of
this healing too."
What if the whole point of our experience on Earth IS
the illusion? As in learning through it. Perhaps
that's why those who reach a certain spiritual level
don't much come down any more. The illusion holds no
potential for them. I'm not sure the "realization"
that it's all an illusion would be of any real help in
the learning of the necessary things. Could it be that
by investing in the illusion, we are forced/enabled to
make the choices that mean real spiritual progress? If
we don't perceive adversity, for example, would the
choice to be kind, or long-suffering, or patient mean
as much?

Today, Thursday, May 26th, I attended and participated
in a conference at the United Nations in New York City
entitled, "How Can the Spiritual Dimensions of Science
and Consciousness Help the UN and Humanity Achieve
Better Standards of Life in Larger Freedom?"
Needless to say, this topic is so broad that it could
not be covered in a 3 hour conference. The guest
keynote speakers were Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury, UN
Under-Secretary-General and High Representative and
Dr. Masaru Emoto, Research Scientist and Author of
"The Hidden Messages in Water" featured in the movie,
"What the Bleep?"
The author of the book "The Book of Knowledge: The
Keys of Enoch", J. J. Hurtak, was a surprise guest in
the audience and although his participation was
unscheduled, he proceeded to give a lengthy slide
presentation, which seemed to dismay the moderator,
who interrupted him twice to keep him directed towards
questions for the guest speakers. Due to this
unscheduled presentation, it cut into the format of
the group discussion participation.
A month ago the Masters informed me that it was
important for me to attend this conference because I
would have an opportunity to speak and address the
entire room with a message, while also anchoring the
Light in the space of the United Nations. . . . so I
followed their guidance. As I entered the conference
room, there was a podium for the scheduled speakers
and rows of semi-circular desks and chairs with a
microphone at each of our stations. I was among about
100 people in the audience listening to the esteemed
speakers. There are many conference rooms in the
United Nations. The conference room we were in was
built and intended as the "meditation room" of the
United Nations to focus on the spiritual aspect. As I
sat in the room awaiting the commencement of the
program, I felt my crown chakra tingling and open up
so widely to anchor a wide beam of pure Light
streaming into my body and into my Heart Chakra, which
then proceeded to emanate out into the entire United
Nations building beyond the conference room.
The program opened with a welcome and a moment of
silence followed by a "sound tuning" by flute played
beautifully by Dr. Eileen Ain, DSW.
It is not possible to cover all of the speech topic,
but here I quote Secretary Chowdhury during his
speech, "Fear of the unknown creates the divisions in
the world. "(I jotted down my response to his
statement in my notes, "fear of the unknown must be
transmuted into "adventure" into the unknown. )He went
on to say that we need to expose children to diversity
so they could learn collaboration and cooperation.
With a disheartening glimpse into the reality that 60
years ago the United Nations charter was written to
say, "We the peoples and our representative
governments. . . " but instead of "we the peoples" as
individuals with an open and compassionate heart, the
United Nations has unfortunately been more focused on
the governments and politics rather than the people. .
. and that the governments are just the well-oiled
machines that need the compassion of the individuals
working there. He said, "We need to revisit the
Charter and the United Nations must become a 'House of
Peace and Non-Violence' and we need to reach the goals
of the U. N. millenium charter with a change of our
hearts.
Dr. Masaru Emoto gave a presentation with audio and
video. The stop-motion animation of the evolving
pictures of the water crystals were quite beautiful to
witness. Here is the scientific proof of the effect
consciousness has upon form. The prophecies of years
ago that science would meet spirituality are unfolding
in all corners of our planet now. I was quite grateful
to Dr. Emoto's demonstration of the physical
scientific picture evidence of that which I have known
and understood to be the truth of creation since I was
about 5 years old and would watch the atomic energy
particles in the space in between. What his
experiments have proven is that the harmonic vibration
of the actual words of "Love" and "Thank You" in any
language brings forth the 6 sided sacred geometric in
crystallized form. Denigrating words do not create
this beauty, but the water particles are scattered in
disarray. His goal and dream is to bring this
information to children in every country to teach them
of the effect their consciousness has upon the water,
and thus upon all form.
During the last 30 minutes, the discussion time was
opened up to the audience. Out of the 100
participants, there was only opportunity for about 6
people in the audience to speak. Sure enough, during
this group discussion format, I was one of them and
was called on and given the floor. I opened my
microphone to address the room. In my usual highly
empathic form, my eyes teared up and my Heart was full
of passion as I spoke, but even heightened more so
than I would have foreseen myself in my usual
expression. I began by thanking Dr. Emoto for honoring
the Divine Feminine, as he had said in his speech, "I
believe it has been an era of man and now it is time
to change it to an era of woman. " This opened the
space for me to bring forth the voice of the Divine
Feminine in this conference. I don't remember exact
word for word, but this is for the most part what I
stated,
"Light is intelligent self-awareness. Intelligence can
build a bomb, but wisdom would never think to do so.
So where is the wisdom in our intelligence, and how do
we infuse wisdom into our actions?" I briefly spoke
about my visit with the Amazon Shuar tribe and how I
learned that the men in their wisdom look to the women
for their intuition for the men know that they will
just continue to hunt and cut down and deplete
everything. They know that the women will tell them
when to stop and that enough is enough. I asked, "When
acquiring 5 cars in a household driveway, when is it
enough?" I posed the question, "When will there be a
Council of Wisdom Elders at the United Nations to
guide decisions through intuition and when will their
wisdom be heeded so that harmony can be restored to
the world as the parts that have too much gives way to
bringing more balance to the parts of the world that
are in need. I stated, "This intuition does not
necessarily have to come from just women for there are
plenty of men who are awakened to the Soul's intuitive
understandings. And these are the seeds of wisdom I
wish to plant here today in this United Nations."
After I passionately spoke these words, a young woman
sitting next to me turned and thanked me profusely for
speaking and she said, "It opened up the energy in the
entire room."
After the closing of the conference with beautiful
flute music and a moment of silence, I was approached
by another man who told me what I said resonated with
him and also to those sitting around him. I thanked
the hosts that moderated for their efforts in bringing
forth this conference, and I approached Secretary
Chowdhury and showed my gratitude for his most
thoughtful speech and told him my heart was warmed to
know that there was someone with his sensitivities
working so hard in the United Nations on behalf of the
poorest island nations.
I left the United Nations with such a feeling of
empowerment and the resonance in the room was surely
brought forth and lifted by all of the wonderful
people who chose to participate. These are the seeds
being planted in the soil of consciousness in many
parts of our world to blossom and bring forth a return
to the Original Garden of harmony. There is much
weeding and nurturing of this garden yet to
accomplish, but as the visionary, I see the seeds
already sprouting in the Light of Consciousness of
each and every Human Being.

I am writing and researching animal intelligence for
an upcoming conference and I come across some amazing
stories about non-human animals. Here are just a few
that I read today that inspired me and I thought a few
of you might like to see... There are many many more.
Fu Manchu, an orangutan at the Omaha, NE zoo,
discovered a trap door that led from his enclosure to
the furnace room. At night, he would descend into the
furnace room and from there, jimmy open the door with
a piece of wire he found and hid in his mouth, and
escape, with his family (who he would let out), into
the trees. Thinking the workers were careless and left
a door open, they were going to fire them, but
discovered what happened and took away the wire. Fu
Manchu found another piece of wire and this time,
wrapped it around his gums so they wouldn't see it
even if he smiled. Though they changed the locks, once
again, he figured out how to jimmy them open with the
wire and again, each morning, he and his family would
be found in the trees.
An orphaned leopard cub was raised by a guy in his
kitchen (this was in India). When the cub grew up, he
released her across the river into the wild. She mated
and had 2 cubs, who she was raising in a cave. When
the rains came and the level of the river rose, she
was afraid of having her cave under water and not
being able to find food, they supposed, because she
brought her cubs to the kitchen where she was raised,
knowing they would be safe there. They hadn't seen her
in a really long time and didn't expect to ever see
here again, but she acted like she had just come for a
visit and took up her old spot and habits, as if she
never left. Daily, she checked the water level and
when it got lower, she got the guy who raised her to
accompany her to the river, jumped in his canoe with
her cubs, gave him a look that said "Home, James", and
he rowed her back across the river, where she said
good-by and went off to her cave with her cubs. They
got it on home videotape. (a friend of mine actually
saw this video...)
Animals have a sense of humor and laugh. Koko, the
gorilla, who knows sign language, kept making the sign
for red, even though the towels she was playing with
were white. Every time the trainer corrected her, Koko
made an even bigger sign for red (as if she were
saying "I really mean RED!"). Finally, she picked up a
tiny piece of red lint and held it up for the trainer
to see, then burst out "laughing". She had played a
joke on the trainer.
To lure 2 elephants back inside their enclosure at
night, they put treats in it. The elephants figured
out that they could prolong their time outside if one
at a time went into the enclosure to eat the treats.
They had to trust one another to not eat all the
treats and leave the other nothing.
Every time a mahout would get drunk and crash, the
elephant he worked with would pick him up and carry
him home.
There are just a few of the amazing stories I have
come across.... There are so many...
