Second-hand knowledge of the self gathered from books
or gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is
rightly investigated and applied; only direct
realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning
the mind inward. - Tripura Rahasya, 18: 89
Uriel's Message
Many fear that the predicted earth changes are
beginning to occur and that humanity will be
eradicated from the face of the world, in light of the
recent earthquake in Asia. The earthquake is part of
the Earth's own shift process and should not be seen
as nature taking revenge on any part of humanity.
Because you are so detached from the earth you forget
that this planet is also a living organism with its
own cycles of changes. The surface, weather and
climate patterns are changing in response to these
natural cycles and there will be more of what you call
'disasters' in the coming year. You must guard against
engaging in the fear that these situations will bring
because the fear is more dangerous than any storm or
event that the earth can unleash.
The Shift is here to remove the fear from your
consciousness and to learn to connect to the Universal
Source. This merely requires that you stop living in
fear and learn to practice unconditional love and to
live within Universal law. Each of you has an
individual connection to the Source and is on your own
path. That path also includes whether you live or die.
This is a time of great change and of great
opportunity, but not everyone will be willing to
change or will take the opportunities to heal that are
presented. It is not a sign that the Universe is
working against humanity, merely a part of a process
that has been in place for many years. You must remove
your fear from this process and allow yourselves to
view these changes with the same detachment and
non-judgment that you apply in your own lives.
Each of you has the power to change these prophecies
of doom and to help the earth through the Shift
process in a more gentle way. Each of you has the
power to bring peace to this planet, by focusing your
intention on creating peace. You can change the
existing energies by manifesting the good that you
desire, for yourselves and for the planet and its
people, by living with Universal law and by refusing
to live in fear. Fear is your greatest threat, not
nature.
It has been predicted that many would leave the planet
at this time and while these prophecies may eventually
come to pass, the number of people who will leave is
as yet undecided. The Shift is not about death and
destruction, though, it is about learning to merge the
spiritual and material worlds. It often takes a
disaster or other cataclysmic event to bring the
people of the world together, to remove their focus
from war and fighting to stand together for a common
purpose. This is happening now. So do not be afraid,
for there is nothing to fear. Know that you are all
loved beyond measure and are all blessed.

The Current Situation
In order to give meaningful suggestions for building a
brighter future, we first need to speak candidly about
what's happening in the world at present. It appears
that there is a relatively small, powerful group of
elites who desire to gain as much control over the
world as possible. Their primary means for
establishing control are through diminishing purpose,
advocating secrecy, and promoting fear and
victimization. As they gain control, our freedoms and
liberties are increasingly taken away, often without
our even realizing it.
The power elite understand that a subtle, yet powerful
method of gaining control is to distract people from
their deeper purpose in life. Thus television, radio,
and movies are filled with ever more greed, violence,
and empty sex. Our educational system increasingly
prioritizes passing tests over developing intelligence
and creativity. Unrestrained corporate control of the
media limits what news we receive, and often shapes
our decisions and the way we think. Our attention is
being diverted from our deeper purpose in life to the
superficial attractions of sex, consumerism, and
money.
Secrecy leads to control through preventing the
exposure of hidden agendas, and through breeding
distrust, suspicion, and even paranoia in the world.
In the name of "national security," we are told ever
more frequently that we should not know what is
happening behind closed doors in government. Yet we
are encouraged to keep vigilant watch over our
neighbors, over those who question the government, and
over those who look or act different from us, as they
could secretly be terrorists in sheep's clothing.
Rampant secrecy and suspicion are causing us to lose
touch with the common humanity we share with all
around us.
Fear and victimization is another powerful tool of
control. "America is under attack! Your job, savings,
and retirement are no longer secure. You are either
for us or against us. The terrorists want to kill us
all." All of these messages are designed to push us
into fear. And by encouraging us to focus blame on
others such as terrorists and "evil" leaders, the
power elite push us away from feeling in control of
our lives, and towards the role of powerless victims.
The more we slip into fear and being victims, the
easier it is for us to be manipulated.
As people lose touch with their sense of purpose in
life, and as they succumb to secrecy, fear, and
victimization, the power elite is able to exert ever
more control over our world.
Towards a Brighter Future
What can we do about all this? Ultimately, it is the
collective secrecy, fear, victimization, and loss of
purpose within all of us that has allowed leaders to
take power who would subvert democracy, and who would
take away our freedoms and liberties. By each one of
us making a commitment to work on these issues inside
ourselves, and to inspire others to do the same, we
can change our collective direction and build a solid
foundation for a brighter future. Several actions can
help us to take firm steps in that direction.
First, develop intentions and purpose for your life.
To live full, rich lives in today's complex world,
it's vitally important to give your life clear
direction by exploring what is deepest and most
meaningful to you, and by developing life intentions
and purpose based on this. Then choose to live your
intentions and follow your purpose to the best of your
ability every day. By choosing to live with clear
direction and focus, life becomes deeper and more
meaningful. This then weakens the seduction of
consumerism and media hype which distract us from our
purpose, and allows us to more effectively focus on
building a brighter future.
Avoid secrecy and encourage openness and transparency.
An important way we can do this is to work together to
inform friends and colleagues about the major
cover-ups being hidden from the public. Then in our
personal lives, when we notice ourselves keeping
information from others, we can examine our motives
for this secrecy. Are we withholding information out
of our own self-interest, or because this is really
what's best for all involved? And on a deeper level,
where are we avoiding the truth within ourselves?
Choose to transform fear into acceptance and love.
When we notice ourselves feeling fear, we can trace
the roots of that fear, so that we are able to
identify our core issues and deal consciously with
them. We can open to guidance from friends, teachers,
and spiritual sources in moving from fear to
acceptance and trust. We can transform our fears
through welcoming the ever-present love of God, and
the love that lies always deep in our own hearts, and
in the hearts of those around us. In doing this, we
begin to recognize fear as an invitation to growth.
Become aware of when you are playing the role of
victim, and choose instead to take personal
responsibility for building a brighter future. In
blaming others for our problems, we often avoid taking
responsibility for how much we are involved in
creating these problems through the choices we make.
When we catch ourselves playing the role of victim by
blaming others for everything that's wrong in our
lives, we can choose instead to look inside ourselves,
and to explore and take responsibility for our role in
what's happening. By focusing on improving ourselves,
every one of us can make a big difference both in our
lives and in our world.
In choosing love and personal responsibility over fear
and victimization, we move beyond the polarizing focus
on "good vs. evil" and "us vs. them." We open to the
realization that every one of us is doing what we
believe to be right based upon our beliefs,
circumstances, and upbringing. We focus less on
judging and blaming ourselves and others, and more on
loving and healing all of us. We see that each of us
has a place in our heart that wants only to love and
be loved. By challenging ourselves to move beyond
fear, blame, and judgment, and by challenging
ourselves to live with a clear intention to love, to
heal, and to empower ourselves and all around us, we
are choosing to build a brighter future for us all.
And finally, come together in groups to support each
other in making these positive changes. In these
groups, we exchange information about all that is
being hidden from us. We also share our life
intentions and encourage each other to live these
intentions. We support each other in transforming fear
into acceptance and love. And we inspire each other to
take responsibility for our lives and to be the best
that we can be. When we gather in groups to support
each other in these intentions, we join in building a
growing network of inspiration and empowerment around
the planet.
These suggestions emphasize changing the world by
starting inside of ourselves. It is important to do
what we can to stop the destructive behaviors of the
power elite. Yet when we focus on changing the outside
world without first having a solid internal
foundation, it's easy to fall into blaming others, and
into the polarizing "us vs. them" ways of the power
elite. By starting with change on the inside, we
develop more balance and strength to then work towards
positive change out in the world.
As we change ourselves from the inside out, we send
ripples of inspiration and healing out into the world.
By joining together in groups to support each other in
this, those ripples become waves which powerfully help
to build a brighter future for us all.

"I have come to guide humanity to a Higher Path.
I do not belong to any particular religion, but I
respect
all religions. I seek the elevation of all mankind."
"Follow the religion that is in your HEART."
Babaji
There is an indefinable mysterious Power that pervades
everything. I feel It, though I do not see It. It is
this unseen Power which makes Itself felt and yet
defies all proof, because It is so unlike all that I
perceive through my senses. It transcends the
senses.... That informing Power or Spirit is God....
For I can see that in the midst of death life
persists, in the midst of untruth, truth persists, in
the midst of darkness light persists. Hence I gather
that God is Life, Truth, Light. He is love. He is
supreme good. But he is no God who merely satisfies
the intellect If He ever does. God to be God must rule
the heart and transform it. M. K. Gandhi (Young
India, October 11, 1928)
Abundance is intangible, spiritual and attracts
energy. To attract this type of energy you need to
define it, for when you name it, you can claim it.
Your definition of abundance is as personal as your
DNA.
Abundance is the same feeling you have when all the
toothpaste is gone and you realize with a sigh that
there is a spare in the cabinet. Emotional abundance
is having reserves available when you need them -- a
loving safety net for you to pull from when needed to
balance.
Reserves also assist in maintaining a strong personal
foundation or who you are. Awareness and a place to
keep those reserves, even if they are only clearly
defined in your mind, are emotionally important. When
committing those reserves to memory, it helps to work
through them in writing and record them.
Since the definition of abundance is vast and
personal, let us focus on four areas of reserves for
now -- peace, joy, happiness and love -- to awaken
awareness and build those reserves for added support
to your personal foundation.
Peace.
Peace begins within the soul and is felt in the
present moment. Negative emotions still lingering from
the past hold you hostage and need to be let go in
order to have abundance in the present.
Here is a simple and effective way to let go. Close
your eyes and allow any past negative energy to emerge
into active memory. At the same time, visualize
picking up a small stone with your non-dominant hand
and placing it carefully in your dominant hand. Close
that hand gently on the stone. Take the built up
energy and move it into the stone. Feel it leaving
your body. When that energy has moved into the stone,
open your eyes. Now throw the stone, as if tossing it
across a river, and begin repeating something such as:
"X, you are gone forever. Good riddance."
Repeat this mantra faster and faster over the next few
days until it is a quick thought and feeling that
whooshes through your body until its emotional hold
is gone.
Afterwards, write an affirmation statement such as: "I
am..." to replace it with positive energy. To enrich
this visualization, throw a real stone into water and
place that sound into memory.
Here is another technique that helps you switch from
past to present.
Journal for 10 minutes. At the end of that time, write
a summary sentence, then rewrite it and begin to
change its energy with statements such as: "I am no
longer a hostage of X. I am no longer allowing this to
place my life on hold. I am free and at peace with it
once and for all." Then shorten into an affirmation
statement of ten or less words. Keep repeating this
affirmation either eye-to- eye in front of a mirror or
eye-to-eye with a friend until there is no longer any
emotion attached.
Joy.
Joy and happiness have similar exhilaration powers. To
name your joys reminisce through your past, especially
those moments when the world slowed down or there was
a lot of excitement in your heart. Was it the birth of
a child, a promotion or something from a vacation?
Make a list about those times and/or share them with
others to extend the joy.
To change the energy on a current challenge, select a
joy, then close your eyes and bring up a strong
visualization and emotion of that joy. Feel its warmth
embrace you. Now transfer that feeling, not its
memory, to that challenge. The energy is now replaced
and the challenge is no longer a challenge and will be
easy to complete.
Happiness.
Define your happiness by finishing the following
sentence with a list of 100 thoughts, feelings and
experiences: "Happiness for me is...." Repeat this
exercise periodically and keep stretching the list for
even greater results. Some of my favorites are: an
adventure movie, American Indian flute music, watching
the tide come in, and playing in the sand. Now, what
are yours?
Love.
Love...aaah, it curls your toes and makes your heart
sing. Define the love you want to receive and the love
you want to give. Separate the two and write out your
definitions of each of these. What do you need to feel
loved? What do others in your life need to feel loved?
Having the right intention for your love is important.
If you give it away freely and don't expect it to come
back, it will return. When you expect it back it is
owed or a trade for something. Knowing what type of
love you need sends the right energy into the Universe
and it will return.
Now, stand back. Its time to smile. See how you have
grown with these exercises. See their meaning and feel
their warmth. Now you are sending out clear and
definable signals and the Universal Laws of Attraction
will send them back to you.

Prosveta Publishing is pleased to offer you the Daily
Meditation for this 2005-01-06.
"To stay young has now become an ideal, and yet our
contemporary culture teaches people to age as rapidly
as possible. Oh, not physically, to be sure! Every
day, quantities of products and methods are invented
to keep the body fit, to maintain the figure, to
smooth away wrinkles and so on. But inwardly,
psychologically, men and women age earlier and
earlier, because it is earlier and earlier that they
forsake simplicity, spontaneity and confidence to
become suspicious, calculating, blasι and dull. Do you
want to stay young? There is only one way: remain
young at heart, forever alive, loving, interested in
everything, quick to forgive, delighted by the
slightest thing, and ready to forget insults, sorrow
and failure. Maintain a heart that is always ready to
love and embrace the whole world, a heart that does
not shrink and grow cold. As long as you maintain a
warm heart, you will never grow old." Omraam Mikhaλl
Aοvanhov
Thirty years ago, in the country of Kenya, 90% of the
forest had been chopped down. Without trees to hold
the topsoil in place, the land became like a desert.
When the women and girls would go in search of
firewood in order to prepare the meals, they would
have to spend hours and hours looking for what few
branches remained.
A woman named Wangari watched all of this happening.
She decided that there must be a way to take better
care of the land and take better care of the women and
girls.
So she planted a tree. And then she planted another.
She wanted to plant thousands of trees, but she
realized that it would take a very long time if she
was the only one doing it. So she taught the women who
were looking for firewood to plant trees, and they
were paid a small amount for each sapling they grew.
Soon she organized women all over the country to plant
trees, and a movement took hold. It was called the
Green Belt Movement, and with each passing year, more
and more trees covered the land.
But something else was happening as the women planted
those trees. Something else besides those trees was
taking root. The women began to have confidence in
themselves. They began to see that they could make a
difference. They began to see that they were capable
of many things, and that they were equal to the men.
They began to recognize that they were deserving of
being treated with respect and dignity.
Changes like these were threatening to some. The
president of the country didn't like any of this. So
police were sent to intimidate and beat Wangari for
planting trees, and for planting ideas of equality and
democracy in people's heads, especially in women's.
She was accused of "subversion" and arrested many
times.
Once, while Wangari was trying to plant trees, she was
clubbed by guards hired by developers who wanted the
lands cleared. She was hospitalized with head
injuries. But she survived, and it only made her
realize that she was on the right path.
For almost thirty years, she was threatened
physically, and she was often made fun of in the
press. But she didn't flinch. She only had to look in
the eyes of her three children, and in the eyes of the
thousands of women and girls who were blossoming right
along with the trees, and she found the strength to
continue.
And that is how it came to be that 30 million trees
have been planted in Africa, one tree at a time. The
landscapes--both the external one of the land and the
internal one of the people--have been transformed.
In 2002, the people of Kenya held a democratic
election, and the president who opposed Wangari and
her Green Belt Movement is no longer in office. And
Wangari is now Kenya's Assistant Minister for the
Environment.
She is 65 years old, and this year she planted one
more tree in celebration and thanksgiving for being
given a very great honor:
Wangari Maathai has been awarded the Nobel Peace
Prize. She is the first African woman to receive this
award.
After she was notified, she gave a speech entitled,
"What Do Trees Have To Do With Peace?" She pointed out
how most wars are fought over limited natural
resources, such as oil, land, coal or diamonds. She
called for an end to corporate greed, and for leaders
to build more just societies. She added:
"Our recent experience in Kenya gives hope to all who
have been struggling for a better future. It shows it
is possible to bring about positive change, and still
do it peacefully. All it takes is courage and
perseverance, and a belief that positive change is
possible. That is why the slogan for our campaign was
'It is Possible!'"
"On behalf of all African women, I want to express my
profound appreciation for this honour, which will
serve to encourage women in Kenya, in Africa, and
around the world to raise their voices and not to be
deterred."
"When we plant trees, we plant the seeds of peace and
seeds of hope. We also secure the future for our
children. I call on those around the world to
celebrate by planting a tree wherever you are."
As she received the Nobel Peace Prize this week in
Oslo, she invited us all to get involved:
"Today we are faced with a challenge that calls for a
shift in our thinking, so that humanity stops
threatening its life-support system. We are called to
assist the Earth to heal her wounds and in the process
heal our own."
Our friend, singer and songwriter Chuck Pyle, likes to
say, "The mind is like a bad neighborhood-you should
never go there by yourself." If you're mind hasn't
been trained to help you, via methods like meditation,
shamanism or NLP, it might really be a bad
neighborhood. Our minds constantly absorb thoughts,
behaviors, and responses from our environment. These
various thought patterns and responses may or may not
be in alignment with our goals. So, unless we actively
train our minds to be responsive to our needs, we may
be in for a wild chariot ride (and 6 out of control
horses)!
From a shamanic point of view, we say that each person
is a spirit with a mind and body. In other words, we
are spirit and mind and body are tools that we,
spirit, can use. However, just because we have mind as
a tool doesn't mean that mind, in its current form, is
a good tool for us. The untrained mind is a lot like
an untrained animal-be prepared for the unexpected!
Have you ever sworn to yourself (say on New Year's
Day?) that you're never going to fall for the wrong
kind of mate again? Or you're going to lose 10 pounds
this year? Or you're going to . the list is endless.
Then what happens? We forget what we've promised
ourselves, or we find other priorities that are more
important. That forgetfulness is a sign that mind
isn't trained to help us with our aims. Mind is doing
its own thing.
So what can we do to train mind? Segment intending,
one of our favorite exercises from Abraham-Hicks, is a
simple way to train your mind to help you while also
accomplishing a lot each day. Here's how you do it:
1) Pick the length of time for your "segment." It can
be any length of time, but no more than an hour.
Thirty minutes or an hour works well. Decide exactly
what time the segment will start and end.
2) Decide on your aim for that segment. It could be a
list of tasks, a state of being, or both. For
instance, you might decide that you will strive to
remain light hearted while you return phone calls for
30 minutes.
3) When the segment start time arrives, start your
segment with no second thoughts. Put your attention
solely on the tasks for that segment and nothing else.
4) If you get interrupted during your segment, you
need to decide whether the interruption is important
enough for you to stop your segment (for instance, if
your boss stops by your office for a chat). If the
interruption is not important enough, keep going on
your segment. If the interruption is important, make a
conscious decision to stop your current segment and
start a new one (one centered around the
interruption).
Practice doing these segments throughout the day. Each
segment is a training period for your mind, and will
teach your mind to assist you in whatever you are
doing. Segment intending works even better with a
buddy, who can help you stay on track and stay
focused. Whether you segment intend by yourself or
with a friend, you'll find your mind becoming much
more responsive to your needs as a spirit. Enjoy!

Heavy metal poisoning is rampant. It is a major cause
of hormonal imbalances, cancer, thyroid problems,
neurological disturbances, learning problems,
depression, food allergies, parasites, etc. etc. This
is a great recipe that is not only easy to make but
also really yummy! It is truly a healing food. One
friend suffering from high blood pressure due to
mercury poisoning had her blood pressure return to
normal after eating two teaspoons of this pesto daily
for only a week. So whether you need to detoxify heavy
metals from your body or just wish to use it as a
preventative measure, 2 teaspoons a day is all you
need to take. This pesto has now become a regular in
my diet. Enjoy!
CORIANDER (Cilantro) CHELATION PESTO
4 cloves garlic
1/3 cup Brazil nuts (selenium)
1/3 cup sunflower seeds (cysteine)
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds (zinc, magnesium)
2 cups packed fresh coriander (cilantro, Chinese
parsley) (vitamin A)
2/3 cup macadamian oil (or olive oil)
4 tablespoons lemon juice (vitamin C)
2 tsp dulse powder
Sea salt to taste
Process the coriander and oil in a blender until the
coriander is chopped. Add the garlic, nuts and seeds,
dulse and lemon juice and mix until the mixture is
finely blended into a paste. Add a pinch of sea salt
to taste and blend again. Store in dark glass jars if
possible. It freezes well, so purchase coriander in
season and fill enough jars to last through the year.
Coriander has been proven to chelate toxic metals from
our bodies in a relatively short period of time.
Combined with the benefits of the other ingredients,
this recipe is a powerful tissue cleanser. Two
teaspoons of this pesto daily for three weeks is
purportedly enough to increase the urinary excretion
of mercury, lead and aluminum, thus effectively
removing these toxic metals from our bodies. We can
consider doing this cleanse for three weeks at least
once a year. The pesto is delicious on toast, baked
potatoes, and pasta.

P.S. This recipe is totally wonderful on your favorite
pasta, with some fresh or sauted veggies and a bit of
your favorite tomato sauce. You only need about two
tablespoons of the cilantro mixture on your plate to
be in heaven.
(Babaji Speaking...)
So all of you have to go beyond the fear of death and
the hope of life and go on doing Karma Yoga. Karma
Yoga is the only type of yoga that gives immediate
results. Whatever you do in the morning, you can see
the results in the evening, standing before you like a
picture. The seeds sown in the morning sprout by the
evening. The farmer harvests the results of his Karma
Yoga after six months. Everyone does Karma naturally,
no one can remain without it. We must perform those
actions which will benefit others - and not only other
people but the whole of Creation.
It is of no use to give birth to millions of sheep.
One hard working human being is enough to save the
world. We must all become hard working and teach
coming generations as well. All other forms of yoga
come second only to Karma Yoga because the whole world
is maintained by Karma. So practice Karma Yoga and
progress. People in the world nowadays have become
very cowardly. That is why we have to be courageous,
adventurous.
JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI!
Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's
Ark...
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built
the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may
ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the
job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails
were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the
Titanic by professionals.
Negative feelings, such as violence, are damaging to
life, whether we act upon them ourselves, or cause or
condone them in others.
They are born of greed, anger, or delusion, and may be
slight, moderate, or intense. Their fruit is endless
ignorance and suffering.
To remember this is to cultivate the opposite.

DANCING WITH DEATH THRU SENILITY INTO ETERNALITY by
Young Toni Delgado
Have you spent any time thinking about how much
time/life you want to have to be here on planet earth
with your family and friends? Do you get uncomfortable
going to nursing homes? Do deaths of those you know
or hear about cause you to want to run and hide your
head under a pillow? Are you quick to change the
subject when death thoughts come up?
How about being willing to do some reading and some
research, so you can face what you believe to be the
inevitable? How about getting courageous enough to
face yourself on your own mortality and the mortality
of those you love and or depend on? And then how about
developing the fortitude to develop another way of
living to create alternatives to dying, degeneration,
disease?
We have been conditioned to believe that senility is a
frightful place because we believe it is the end of
our productivity as a being. We believe it is the
experience that precedes death and we are loathesome
to it. Senility can come to an individual at any time
in their lives. It does not just occur to the elderly.
It can happen in your thirties or younger.
What is important to know is that it absolutely can be
overcome! I have done it! Leonard Orr and Sondra Ray
and others have done it. Leonard says that senility is
the final exam of the human condition. That sounds and
feels right. You must however, have the tools and
psychological preparation to outlast it. Read my book
and learn how.
