FEATURES:
When there is a negative situation that you cannot
change,
focus your thoughts and energy elsewhere.
When there is a pain that will not go away,
overwhelm it with an even greater amount of joy.
It serves no useful purpose to get mired in despair
over things you cannot control.
It makes much more sense to do the very best, to
achieve the very most,
with those things you do control.
You can choose where to focus your energy and
attention.
Focus on those areas where you can have a powerful
positive impact.
Yes, it can be easy to get caught up in the negativity
of the moment.
Yet it also can be surprisingly easy to shift your
focus toward the positive,
productive things you can do.
You are never obligated to be miserable.
If you really want to contribute to life, set your
sights on the value you're able to create.
Don't despair over the darkness that is beyond your
control.
Instead, shine your own light so brightly that the
darkness is overwhelmed.
~ Ralph Marston
Blessings to one and all for the glory of being alive!
Our gathering this month spoke to a desire for all of
humanity (and indeed all that we are individually) to
awaken more, to become more inspired and motivated to
more proactive living and magnificent results.
We talked about the Will of God--Mother God, the
Goddess and the absolute importance of connecting to
this powerful aspect of self that seems to be lying
dormant in still too many. We talked about how so much
in our lives reflects a loss of personal will, free
will and how we need as a planet to acquire back our
wills and to learn Right Use of Will.
Our Intent for World Peace for this month is : WE
COMMAND OUR FULL AWAKENING AND COMPLETE RETURN OF
WILL.
Please join us the first Sunday of each month. We
gather at 3 pm rocky mountain time, we take time to
share, and breathe using BBL -VFF breath/meditation
and then we usually have a fabulous baked goodie. You
can join us wherever you are with BBL - VFF breath/
meditation. Bursting the Body Light - Violet Flame of
Forgiveness. Victory to us! Jai Ma!

Through the ancient techniques of divination and tools
of prophecy, the Mayan elders are calling forth to
humanity at THIS TIME to pay closer attention to the
messages being sent forth by the mother earth and to
immediately take the actions they have been calling
for, to unite in an effort to bring balance again upon
our planet. The recent destruction that manifested in
Indonesia is predicted to now occur rapidly upon five
continents of the earth. This message is not meant to
induce fear, to the contrary, it is a call for bravery
and for action. The elders are concerned about what
has been presented in their recent divinations and
they call to all humanity to warn their leaders and to
work very hard at a spiritual level to prevent the
impending destruction.
This message, verified and brought forth by various
Mayan elders in Guatemala, is for all of humanity. The
hurricanes in the US and the earthquake and tsunami in
Indonesia have been warnings and we must now pay
attention or the possibilities of floods in Europe,
Los Angeles, earthquakes and other efforts of the
mother earth to awaken us will manifest quickly.
There is a specific call for people around the world
to join in prayer, meditation or whatever method of
spirituality one engages in to unite on January 18th
at the time of their local sunset (approx 6:00PM).
This date is (9) Keme according to the sacred Mayan
Cholq'ij calendar(more info on calendar available at:
http://www.sacredroad.org) and has the potential for
protecting humanity from disaster.
There will be many major ceremonies in the Mayan
communities for this purpose. An open invitation is
extended to humanity that wish to join the Mayan
people for the Waxa'qib B'atz' ceremonies on February
12th in Guatemala.
Again, this is a strong message, not meant to drive us
to react in fear, for this will only negatively impact
the level of destruction and our own circumstance.
This is the opportunity for humanity to rise to the
occasion and come together along the strong lines that
unite us and overcome the obstacles that divide us.
Please distribute this message widely.

REMEMBER Time is not linear...you can do this any time
and have effect on the ONE.
14.O Mother, if we constantly remember
Thine image in the lotus of our heart,
We will achieve Pure Understanding and our mind
Will always be composed, without greed and deception
Incessantly I want to pray to Thee, O Mother,
With lowered head and arms outstretched, I beg,
O give me pure devotion to Thy lotus-feet,
Entrancing and bestowing liberation.
15.Filled with the nectar of compassion
Thou overfloweth with the feeling of affection,
The essence of pure mercy fill Thy heart,
It fills my heart, O Mother with delight,
In this way Epics, Saint and Scriptures
Praise Thee as Satya-Shivam-Sundaram
Seeing my poverty and misery, O Mother,
Why art Thou not yet moved?
16.My pitiful state does not afflict my heart,
My destiny is seeing with the eyes of poverty.
But whenever I meditate on Thee, joy comes to me,
Thy form always enchants my heart.
Tired am I, yet full of anxious expectation,
Waiting for Thee in every single moment.
Dependent am I Mother on Thy love.
I am Thy child, save me or not. Do as Thou wish.

thru our own creation, then this book is an imperative
read and study for all of Humanity.
You will absolutely be blown away by the beauty of the
photographs of crystallized water as it responds to
every intent and energy presented to it. One of us

lighted in the film that so many are raving about
called What the Bleep Do We Know?
When a country is in harmony with the Tao,
the factories make trucks and tractors.
When a country goes counter to the Tao,
warheads are stockpiled outside the cities.
There is no greater illusion than fear,
no greater wrong than preparing to defend yourself,
no greater misfortune than having an enemy.
Whoever can see through all fear
will always be safe.

Most people have one or more core issues which tend to
surface repeatedly over the course of their lives.
These issues are usually rooted in an unexpressed
fear. Depending on your perspective, core issues
either cause all sorts of problems, or present many
opportunities for growth. When you choose to look at
your core issues as an opportunity, you are much more
likely to be effective at playing your part in
building a brighter future. Below are a few examples
of core issues, their related fears, and suggestions
for dealing with them.
Examples of Common Core Issues and Associated Fears
* Abandonment - Nobody likes me. Nobody understands
me. I don't matter. I'm alone.
* Arrogance - I'm better than all of you. I'm too
much. You're wrong and I'm right.
* Damaged - Something is wrong with me. I'm a failure.
I'm needy.
* Inferiority - I'm not good enough. I'm stupid. I'm
worthless. I'm boring. I'm hopeless.
* Negative self-image - I'm bad. I'm evil. I'm a
mistake. I'm guilty.
* Rejection - Nobody wants to spend time with me. I'm
a burden. I'm unwanted.
Note that some people are over-compensators. If you
are one of these people, you will do everything you
can to make it appear as if you are anything but your
core issue. For instance, someone with inferiority as
a core issue might outwardly appear very macho or
domineering. Yet deep inside, this is covering up a
fear of being inferior. A person who is overly nice
and giving may be covering up a fear that they are
really bad. Particularly if you are having trouble
finding a core issue, notice if any of your behavior
is opposite of the common core issues above.
Often these core issues originate from childhood
family issues. Sometimes they were negative messages
repeated many times to us by our parents or other
significant people in our lives. Though you may find
that you have more than one core issue, generally one
will be more prominent than the others. Particularly
if this is new to you, we highly recommend you focus
on exploring your most prominent core issue. To deal
with this core issue, you can design intentions to
gradually shift this deeply ingrained pattern.
Intentions for Dealing With Core Issues
* Abandonment - I am worthy of love. I can find ways
to safely share myself with others.
* Arrogance - I can see the beauty and value in
everyone I meet. I open to learning from all around
me.
* Damaged - I am whole and complete just as I am.
* Inferiority - I am a good, valuable person. I can
find meaningful ways to meet my needs.
* Negative self image - I am a good person with only
the best intentions in my heart.
* Rejection - I am an attractive person. People enjoy
getting to know me.
It is not necessary to use the wording in the above
examples. By finding words or statements that resonate
more strongly with you personally, you can invite
transformation on a deeper level. Take some time alone
to explore these issues. Change the wording any time
you find something more appropriate. You might also
invite close friends or family members to give
suggestions. Writing down your intentions is highly
recommended. Consider developing and writing a set of
life intentions, and review them frequently to help
keep you on track.
Once you have developed your intentions, cultivate an
awareness of when your core issue is triggered. Notice
when you are telling yourself that same old story.
Each time this happens, remind yourself of your deeper
intention and open to shifting from your old,
disempowering self-image into a new, fuller way of
being.
This is not to suggest that you avoid or suppress your
core issues. Working to accept and understand all
parts of yourself, including your core issues, allows
you to open more easily and naturally to the your
beautiful deeper essence. This, in turn, can help you
to live a much fuller and richer life. For empowering
ideas on developing acceptance and understanding, see
http://www.weboflove.org/simplekeys#acceptance.
Don't be surprised if a while after having a
significant breakthrough in transforming a core issue,
you find the same issue then rearing its ugly head
again in a different form. Most people find that
working with their core issues is like peeling away
layers of an onion. You make a significant
breakthrough, only to eventually find the same issue
manifesting in another, more subtle form. Yet as each
layer is peeled away, you will very likely find your
life to be richer, more meaningful, and more
enjoyable.
By identifying and choosing to deal with our core
issues, we work through our deepest fears and end up
feeling more alive, and more available to the people
around us. This then inspires us to participate more
fully and effectively in building a brighter future.
If you are interested in more on core issues, there
are many books, therapists, and workshops which
explore this topic. Try a search on your favorite
search engine to find more. Feel free to contact us,
as well, for more suggestions.:

In the right view both of life and of Yoga, all life
is either consciously or subconsciously a Yoga. For we
mean by this term a methodized effort towards
self-perfection by the expression of the
potentialities latent in the being and a union of the
human individual with the universal and transcendent
Existence we see partially expressed in man and in the
Cosmos. But all life, when we look behind its
appearance, is a vast Yoga of Nature attempting to
realize her perfection in an ever increasing
expression of her potentialities to unite herself with
her own divine reality.
Sri Aurobindo
The Synthesis of Yoga
Conscious breathing, also known as breath awareness,
provides an intimate pathway into ourselves. Breath
awareness is practiced in the world's great spiritual
traditionsincluding, among others, Taoism, Hinduism,
Buddhism, Islam, and Christianityas part of an
overall work of spiritual development and awakening.
It is also practiced in many meditative, somatic, and
therapeutic disciplines for health, self-discovery,
and self-transformation.
The effort to experience now and here that we are
breathing beings in the face of the great mystery of
existence is one of the most important efforts that we
can undertake on behalf of our own physical,
emotional, and spiritual well-being. Since most of us
are almost totally unaware of our breathing, conscious
breathing should be the first step in any
self-directed program of breathing work. By learning
to be aware of our breath, by learning to follow the
movements of our out-breath and in-breath consciously
in ourselves without any kind of interference or
manipulation, we can gain many new insights into the
relationship of breathing to our own inner and outer
lives.
... Conscious breathing not only provides a solid
foundation for all the other kinds of breathing work,
but it is also, in itself, transformational. Conscious
breathing helps us cultivate inner stillness and
presence. It also helps us be present to ourselves
without judgment or analysis. Through becoming aware
of how we actually breathe from moment to moment,
through sensing and feeling how our breath shapes and
is shaped by our emotions, our attitudes, and our
inner and outer tensions, we liberate the wisdom of
our body and brain to bring about subtle beneficial
changes without any ego manipulation on our part.
Direct internal awareness of our breath can by itself,
for example, help slow down our breathing if, as is
common, we are breathing too fast for the
circumstances at hand, or it can help alter the length
of the inhalation or exhalation in an appropriate way.
Unfortunately, many people who try to become aware of
their breath do so in a way that only further
undermines their breathing. This happens when people
equate awareness with thought or visualization and
find themselves thinking about their breath or
visualizing it instead of actually experiencing it
through their own inner sensation. Too much thinking
about or purely mental concentration on our breathing
can tighten our diaphragm and other breathing muscles
and produce disharmonies throughout body and mind.
Yogis, qigong practitioners, meditators, and
alternative health practitioners have known for a long
time that conscious breathing can help reduce stress,
increase relaxation, and decrease pain.
Neuro-scientist Candace Pert tells us that bringing
our attention to our breathing during meditation
brings many such benefits. Discussing the Buddhist
form of meditation called vipassana, for example, she
points out that such mindful breathing helps us "enter
the mind-body conversation without judgments or
opinions, releasing peptide molecules from the
hindbrain to regulate breathing while unifying all
systems."
The key, as we have already discussed, is simply to be
present to our breathing, using our inner attention to
follow our inhalations and exhalations as they take
place by themselves.

JAI MAHAMAYA KI JAI!
17 AUGUST 1983
Evening with Babaji
From tomorrow morning, Anushthan Puja for the
Haidakhandeshwari Devi (the repetition of 1008 times
of the "Haidakhandeshwari Sapt Shati," 700 verses in
praise of the Haidakhandeshwari Mataji, written by
Vishnudatt Shastriji) will take place in the Dhuni.
Everyone should participate morning and evening. Just
as you go to the temples, everyone should go to the
dhuni to meditate and do japa there.
Still, the main importance must be given to Karma
Yoga. Without Karma Yoga it is not possible to
progress in life - not only to achieve material
progress; Karma Yoga is essential for spiritual
perfection, as well. I consider an inactive man a dead
man. Only through Karma Yoga can you advance in your
life; your heart becomes purified, your thinking will
be good. Karma Yoga is also beneficial for your
health; you will sleep well and have good appetite. A
man with good appetite and sound sleep is always a
healthy man and with good health he can achieve
anything in life.
I have told you before that there are many kinds of
Yoga, but Karma Yoga is of supreme importance. Karma
Yoga must come first, then others types of Yoga can be
added. In the name of Lord Rama, advance and progress
through Karma Yoga.
Since the time of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna many
scriptures have come into being. They all describe the
significance of Karma Yoga and teach its greatness.
Christ was a Karma Yogi and the prophet Mohammed
followed the path of Karma Yoga. All the Great Ones
who have come advanced through Karma Yoga. "Phuro - be
inspired!" All of you! In the name of Lord Rama, Karma
Yoga teaches you to lead a true life. Only Yoga is
able to transform the world. Inaction is the cause of
pain and all troubles.
1. The Number 4 is unlucky. This is not true, but
people think that if their address has the number 4 in
it that this alone constitutes an unlucky house. In
Chinese, the word for the number 4 sounds almost the
same as their word for "death." It is a cultural
association that has NOTHING to do with real energy.
2. A red door is lucky. Once again, this feng shui
myth is based on a cultural association with the color
red being a symbol of happiness, fertility and
prosperity. The Chinese bride wears a red dress. But
this does not mean that red doors attract positive
energies. It is a superstition that has been
perpetuated by both Western and Asian feng shui
novices.
3. Keep your toilet lid closed so that you don't lose
your wealth luck. This myth was created about 25 years
ago by the New Age version of feng shui, which is not
respected at all by authentic classical feng shui
masters.
4. Images of fish or frogs will bring prosperity.
These are cultural symbols which are not considered
high caliber feng shui remedies. The origin of the
fish or frog superstition probably has something to do
with the fact that these are water bound creatures and
water can in fact bring prosperity when it is placed
correctly.
5. Hanging windchimes is lucky. A metal wind chime is
considered a "moving metal" remedy, like a grandfather
clock. But when it is not appropriate to use metal,
this remedy may actually cause harm or even attract a
ghost.
6. Hanging crystals is lucky. This is another myth
created by the New Age version of feng shui. Crystals
were never used as feng shui remedies. One of the
greatest living feng shui masters, Master Sang, said
"I never heard of these crystals until I came to
America."
7. Dried flowers bring death. This is also not true
and a dried flower arrangement is no "deader" than
wood furniture. Pure pyschobabble.
8. Antiques or pre-owned objects are unlucky.
Inanimate objects can retain energy, including an
auric imprint of the previous owner. This can go
either way. Sometimes the antique can possess positive
energies, sometimes not.
9. Photos or paintings of a solitary person will
sabotage a woman's chance of being in a romantic
relationship. This is more New Age nonsense. Art is
always subjective and you should not be afraid to
display artistic images of one person.
10. A good feng shui house is clutter-free. Some
people think that good feng shui is synonymous with a
clean, tidy house. This does not have a lot to do with
a real understanding of the unseen energies. In fact,
you can have a house that is a little messy and it
might still have excellent energy. Sometimes very
creative and spiritual people have messy homes. No
need to be fanatic.
A variety of veggies, fruits and nuts battled it out
this month for the top spot on a new list of the 20
most antioxidant-rich foods, ranked by nutrition
scientists at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
In the end, small red beans won the day, narrowly
beating out wild blueberries as the food with the
highest concentration of disease-fighting compounds
per serving. Antioxidants fight damage to cells from
rogue molecules called "free radicals."
Experts believe this assault on cells may fuel killer
diseases such as heart disease and cancer, and even
aging itself. The new Top 20 list, published in the
June issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food
Chemistry, "is a relative ranking of the capacity of
foods to interfere with or prevent oxidative processes
and to scavenge free radicals," explained list
co-creator Ronald L. Prior, a USDA nutritionist and
research chemist based in Little Rock, Ark.
Prior and his colleagues used the most advanced
technologies available to tabulate antioxidant levels
in more than 100 different types of fruits,
vegetables, berries, nuts and spices.
Their TOP 20
1) Small red beans (dried).
2) Wild blueberries.
3) Red Kidney beans.
4) Pinto beans.
5) Blueberries (cultivated).
6) Cranberries.
7) Artichokes (cooked).
8) Blackberries.
9) Prunes.
10) Raspberries.
11) Strawberries.
12) Red Delicious apples.
13) Granny Smith apples.
14) Pecans.
15) Sweet cherries.
16) Black plums.
17) Russet potatoes (cooked).
18) Black beans (dried).
19) Plums.
20) Gala apples.
There's "still a lot we haven't learned" about why
some foods are richer in antioxidants than others,
Prior said. Even though the small red bean came out on
top, "we don't have a lot of information on beans," he
added.
Berries are better understood. "The components that
contribute a lot of the antioxidant activity are what
are called anthocyanins, the compounds that give many
berries their dark blue color," he said.
FOOD COLOR MAKES A DIFFERENCE. In fact, color may be
key to spotting foods that fight free radicals, said
Roberta Anding, an American Dietetic Association
spokeswoman and a nutritionist at Texas Children's
Hospital in Houston.
"If you're looking for the best places to get
antioxidants, I will usually tell folks to look at the
colors of the rainbow," she added. For example,
"you'll find lutein with some of the yellow pigments
found in corn; orange can be the pigments from the
carotenoid family that are found in cantaloupe,
butternut squash and mango; red could come from things
like lycopene, found in tomatoes and watermelon. And
then the darker colors - the purples, blues, in
berries," she said.
But Prior cautioned that just because a food has
proven to be antioxidant-rich in the USDA's lab, that
doesn't mean all those nutrients will be successfully
absorbed by the human digestive tract. "As we learn
more and more, we're finding that, depending on the
chemical makeup of antioxidants in different foods,
some of them aren't apparently absorbed as well, or
else they are metabolized in a form where they are no
longer antioxidants," he said.
Whether a food is eaten fresh, frozen, processed or
cooked can also affect its antioxidant potency for
good or ill, he said. Blueberries are best when eaten
fresh rather than cooked in a pie, for example. On the
other hand, research has shown that gentle cooking
raises the antioxidant power of tomatoes, he noted.
Although experts are working hard on the project,
ongoing efforts to come up with daily dietary
guidelines for antioxidant consumption will be "a long
process," Prior said.
"How antioxidants behave, how they act within the
body, the dose-response - we just don't know enough
about it," he said. For her part, Anding said people
shouldn't get too hung up on gorging on one particular
food, but "cast your net widely," eating generous
daily servings of a variety of fruits, vegetables and
other wholesome foods.
Looking over the USDA's list, Anding suggested
creating what she called an antioxidant "power salad."
First, she said, "put together a salad with a variety
of mixed greens. Then I'd throw in some dried
cranberries or blueberries from the health food store,
toss in a few nuts, with a low-fat salad. Again,
choosing from the colors of the rainbow."

"To know another human being in their essence , you
don't really need to
know about them--their past, their history, their
story. We confuse knowing about with a deeper knowing
that is nonconceptual. Knowing about and knowing are
totally different modalities. One is concerned with
form, the other with the formless. One operates
through thought, the other through stillness."
"Knowing about is helpful from practical purposes. On
that level, we cannot do without it. When it is the
predominant modality in relationships, however, it
becomes very limiting, even destructive. Thoughts and
concepts create an artificial barrier, a separation
between human beings. Your interactions are then not
rooted in Being, but become mind based. Without the
conceptual barriers love is naturally present in all
human interactions."

DANCING WITH DEATH THRU SENILITY INTO ETERNALITY by
Young Toni Delgado
We have been conditioned to believe that senility is a
frightful place because we believe it is the end of
our productivity as a being. We believe it is the
experience that precedes death and we are loathesome
to it. Senility can come to an individual at any time
in their lives. It does not just occur to the elderly.
It can happen in your thirties or younger.
What is important to know is that it absolutely can be
overcome! I have done it! Leonard Orr and Sondra Ray
and others have done it. Leonard says that senility is
the final exam of the human condition. That sounds and
feels right. You must however, have the tools and
psychological preparation to outlast it. Read my book
and learn how.
