"Wherever the mind wanders, restless and diffuse in
its search for satisfaction without, lead it within;
train it to rest in the Self." -Bhagavad Gita 6:26
You know the feeling.
There's something you want to do. You've thought about
it, you've made your decision, and now it's time to
act. Except... you don't.
You want to take the next step, but "something" stops
you. Do you know what that "something" is? It's all
down to our ancient ancestors... Backtrack 100,000
years ago when we all lived in caves and ferocious
animals lurked nearby. Decision making in those days
was literally a matter of life and death. If you took
a wrong turn, or made yourself too visible, you would
attract predators who would eat you for dinner. You
and the entire group. Whatever action you took, you
had to be 100% certain before taking it. One mistake
meant death.
Fast forward to today.
100,000 years on, and the human brain has evolved into
a marvel of sophisticated intelligence. Unfortunately,
it still contains the primitive thinking layer used by
our ancestors.
And there lies the problem. Because even today, we
still have this overriding need for the elusive
quality that enabled our primitive forebears to
survive:
Certainty.
And so although the decisions we face nowadays are
seldom a matter of life and death, they can often feel
that way thanks to our genetic inheritance. That's why
the first step is always the hardest to take.
Anytime you decide to do something new, you are
stepping outside "the cave of the familiar" into
unknown territory where you are likely to experience
some form of fear. And this sense of discomfort is so
strong, you'll do anything to avoid it. Typical tricks
include avoidance, delay, or "over- thinking"...
"Over-thinking" is when you continue to think about
making a decision, long after you've actually decided!
What you're really doing is creating a safe mental
environment for yourself. By constantly thinking about
something, it becomes familiar, and so you start to
feel comfortable around it.
The problem with "over-thinking" is that it doesn't
move you forward one tiny bit, and only results in
wasted time and lost opportunities. Ultimately, a
decision is not a decision until it's acted upon.
Until that point, it remains a dream. Here's how to
ease yourself out of procrastination and into action
using what I call the "triple A" method...
1) Accept 2) Ask 3) Act
Step #1 - Accept
Accept uncertainty is a part of life.
Just by doing this, you'll become aware of your
feelings surrounding a decision and put them into
perspective by relating them to your own primeval
craving for certainty. Realize that even with the best
analysis, careful planning, and due diligence, the
outcome can never really be known in advance and there
comes a time when you've got to take the risk and move
forward.
Step #2 - Ask
Ask yourself: "What's the worst that can happen here?"
Look at the worst case scenario, and ask yourself what
you'd really lose from it. Most often, it's a lot less
than you might have feared. And what can you do if the
worst scenario was to materialize? Could you
backtrack? Change direction? Start again? Few things
are ever truly final. Usually you'll find you've got
nothing to worry about.
Step #3 - Act
Finally, act. Just do it. Take the next step.
Making a decision and acting on it is enormously
liberating. You get a sudden burst of momentum as you
cast off the shackles of procrastination and finally
move forward towards your goal. The old maxim "If in
doubt, leave it out" is essential advice when driving
or engaging in other hazardous activities.
For most decisions in life, though, you can afford to
take a little risk and start living.
The next time you feel stuck, use the 'AAA' technique
to help you move forward.
1) Accept. 2) Ask. 3) Act.

"Why is it so important to live in harmony? Because it
is a state which activates a series of physical and
chemical reactions in the organism, as a result of
which all our physiological processes function more
effectively. To live in harmony means that one has
decided to experiment with the power of the spirit, of
the soul, of thought, and of feeling on the physical
body. How many people become unhinged because they
endlessly nourish chaotic thoughts and emotions! They
have not understood that these are malevolent forces
which are destroying them, and they continue to seek
the cause of their sickness elsewhere. They must
finally understand that it is their thoughts and
feelings that are making them ill, and that they must
stop feeding them."

As long as I can remember, I've yearned to make a
difference in people's lives, and thanks to the grace
of God I've had ample opportunities, first as a small
animal veterinarian for 15 years and for the past 15
years as a life coach, speaker, writer, and founder of
Life On Purpose Institute.
I don't believe there's anything I've done in these
various professional capacities that's been any more
rewarding or difference-making than taking an active
role in raising my daughter, Amber, with my wife, Ann.
And with Amber all the other various threads have
come together as a beautiful tapestry of life.
For, while I've coached hundreds of people to clarify
their life purpose, trained and developed over 50
others to be life purpose coaches, spoken to hundreds
about the value of living on purpose, and had
thousands read my articles about life purpose, one of
my proudest accomplishment was when Amber clarified
her life purpose at the age of 10 using the Life On
Purpose Process I created when she was only 2.
I love to hear Amber share her life purpose statement
with her friends. "My life purpose is to live a life
of full self expression, happiness and love," she says
proudly, with a smile on her face.
As one of her parents and her life purpose coach, it
is my strongest desire that Amber grow up knowing who
she is and why God placed her on planet earth. I guess
that's why the last piece of coaching I always give
her just before she goes on stage to perform in one of
her community plays or sing is simply, "Remember, be
yourself and have fun expressing your life purpose.
Everything else will flow from that."
A LEGACY FOR LIFE WHERE PURPOSE IS MORE THAN DOING
It is my hope and intention that a part of my legacy
to my daughter and the rest of humankind is a new
perspective on what a life purpose is : a way of
viewing life purpose that allows people to live true
to their life purpose in their entire life rather than
in just a few areas.
Over the past 10 years I've asked thousands of people
this simple question, "In your view, what is a life
purpose?" It's my contention that how we view the
concept of a life purpose has a tremendous influence
on how we answer the question, "What is my life
purpose?"
What I have learned from this survey is that there is
a common theme to 60 to 70 percent of the replies,
which goes something like this. "A life purpose is
what Iım here to do while on earth," with the key word
being "do". For most people this equates to them
considering their life purpose to be either their job
or career, or a primary role in life like parent,
spouse, or family member.
It also means that much of their life is left out of
their life purpose. For example, a few years ago my
dentist read on my records that I was a life purpose
coach, to which he said, "Boy, my dad could use you
right now. He's been a prominent physician in this
part of the country for close to 40 years, but now,
because of his health he can no longer practice. He
feels lost. He has no sense of purpose or meaning to
his life."
The same loss of purpose is true for many men and
women who retire or who experience the "empty nest
syndrome" when their children grow up and leave home,
if they've misidentified their life purpose to be a
good parent.
But there's another way to view a life purpose that I
call the Life On Purpose Perspective. I invite you to
consider that a life purpose is the context, vessel or
container into which you pour your life. And just
like a cup gives form and shape to the liquid poured
inside of it, the same is true for a life purpose; it
gives shape and form to your life.
From this perspective, all the things we do in our
life become ways in which we can express our life
purpose, making it possible to live true to our
purpose our whole life. For example, my life purpose
isn't to be a writer, coach, speaker, or even to be a
good parent to Amber or a loving spouse to Ann. These
are all things that I do as an expression of my true,
divinely inspired life purpose. For me, a life on
purpose is to live a life of purposeful, passionate,
and playful service, mindful abundance balanced with
simplicity, and spiritual serenity. It is this context
that I pour my life as a writer, coach, speaker and
parent into.
And it's this perspective on life and on living on
purpose that I leave to my daughter, and to your sons
and daughters.

"In the world today fire is bursting out on one
side,while nectar flows on the other. You must decide
if you choose fire or nectar. While the flames of the
fire are spreading, it is up to us to save ourselves
and others. We must be alert. At this moment people
are jumping into the fire because of their ignorance.
We must save these people,and we can do so only if we
have great courage. We should give this courage to
others as nothing can be done without it. Courage is
the most important thing.
Shri Mahaprabhuju has told you many times to wake up.
Wake up yourselves and others. Control your mind and
have firm determination. Whoever comes here must vow
to save himself and the world. Wherever you go, be
prepared to save people. Be firm like a rock, deep
and serious like the sea. Think of the earth as a
Mother. This is one earth. Don't be divided by
thinking of yourselves as belonging to different
countries. We belong to one earth.
Proceed with this in mind. Look to the future with a
vision of good for the whole world, not just one
country. Have great courage and patience and be not
afraid of water, fire, or great storms - face them
bravely."

Mercury poisoning is a topic of concern these days,
but don't give up if you've got it - you can get
mercury out of your body. It's tricky, but possible.
Mercury is one of the most interesting and fascinating
elements on the Earth. It is assertive, movable and
bioaccumulative (retained in organisms). Mercury can
evaporate to form colorless, odorless vapors.
Health Dangers
Exposure to high levels of mercury can create health
dangers in the following
ways:
* Elemental mercury vapor can result in nervous system
damage including tremors and mood and personality
swings.
* Adult exposure to relatively high levels of
methylmercury through fish consumption can result in
numbness or tingling in the extremities, sensory
losses, hormonal imbalances, and loss of coordination.
* Exposure by the developing fetus through maternal
intake of contaminated fish can result in neurological
developmental abnormalities in cognitive and motor
functions.
The nature and severity of health symptoms depend on
the amount of exposure.
Mercury from Fish
Methylmercury (an organic form of mercury) is spread
through the food chain and is retained in the bodies
of the animals exposed to it. It reaches its highest
levels in large predatory fish, and in birds and
mammals (humans), which consume the fish.
Dental Amalgams
Mercury released from dental amalgam fillings can
accumulate over time in the brain, pituitary gland,
adrenals, and other parts of the body.
Mercury toxicity can damage the heart, brain, lungs,
kidneys, adrenal glands, pituitary and thyroid glands.
Mercury Sources
The following is a list of some of the more common
sources of mercury:
* Cosmetics
* Dental fillings
* Diuretics
* Fabric softeners
* Felt floor waxes
* Polishes
* Fungicides
* Industrial wastes
* Inoculations
* Laxatives
* Seafood
* Sewage disposal
* Tattooing
* Wood preservatives
Too many times, people justify health symptoms as due
to 'stress' when heavy metals are at the root of
illness all along. Many factors determine risk from
exposure including:
* The dose
* The duration
* The type of contact
Danger to Children
The developing fetus and young children are a higher
risk population for mercury poisoning because mercury
in the mother's body may enter the unborn child and
the breast-feeding infant. Young children are at risk
because their nervous systems are still developing and
have a lower body weight compared to adults.
Common symptoms of heavy metal toxicity include:
* Depression
* Headaches
* Digestive problems
* High blood pressure
* Fatigue
* Irregular heart beat
* Muscle pain
* Brain fog
* Constipation
* Hormonal imbalances
Safe Detox Solutions
Some safe and effective methods of eliminating heavy
metals are:
* Alpha Lipoic Acid - serves as an antioxidant.
* Apple pectin - binds and eliminates heavy metals
through the colon.
* B3 Niacin - eliminates toxins from the blood through
the pores of the skin.
* Cilantro - binds to remove metals through the urine.
* Chlorella and sea algae - bind and remove toxins
while replacing critical minerals and nutrients.
* Digestive enzymes - increase elimination of toxins
through the bowels.
* French Green Clay - binds and eliminates metallic
substances (and microbes) through the colon.
* Milk Thistle - stimulates detoxification within the
liver and supports the liver while cleansing and
detoxifying.
* Vitamin C - binds and eliminates toxins through the
urine and water stores in the body.
Mercury poisoning is a never-ending topic, and I have
the extended version of
this article posted on my hair analysis website:
http://www.hairanalysisprogram.com/mercury-toxicity-article.php
Watching television's "sitcom's", I can't help but
notice that most of the plots revolve around the same
theme - someone being afraid to tell someone else the
truth. We saw it in the years that Ross loved Rachel,
that Niles loved Daphne, or that George hated Susan.
We saw it in virtually every episode of Three's
Company.
Why do we keep the truth from people? Usually it's for
one of the following reasons (or a combination):
~ We don't want to hurt someone's feelings ~ We're
afraid the other person will be angry with us ~ We
don't want to be embarrassed.
What is the main consequences of not speaking up and
telling the hard truth? It keeps us stuck in
unfulfilling situations - like jobs, relationships and
other life circumstances. Here are some others:
~ Someone thinks you understand something you don't ~
Someone thinks you've agreed with something you
haven't ~ Someone thinks you're going to do something
and you're not ~ Someone thinks you did something and
you didn't ~ Someone doesn't know you love them and
you do ~ Someone thinks you love them and you don't ~
Someone doesn't know what you're capable of ~ Someone
thinks you're capable of something you're not.
How do you know when it's time to tell the hard truth?
From that first nagging feeling in your stomach that
something about the situation is not right. Because
there's no bad time to tell the hard truth.
===================================================
Ways that telling the hard truth is good for your
self-care:
===================================================
1. You deepen your relationships. Social support is a
very important element of self-care. When you assume
someone can handle hearing the hard truth, they
usually rise to your expectations. When you learn to
tell the hard truth in a relationship you can be
yourself in that relationship.
2. You lose the stress. Hiding the truth and/or living
a lie is very stressful! Telling the hard truth is the
antidote.
3. You feel better about yourself. When you've done
something courageous like telling someone the hard
truth, you're sending yourself the message that maybe
you can do OTHER hard things.
4. You create evidence that your own thoughts make you
suffer - look at an experience where you told the hard
truth and notice that it was the anticipation of
telling that created your worry and stress. Things
that hadn't happened and may never happen, things you
were creating in your own mind. And the reality rarely
lives up to our feared expectations.
5. You can learn from the hard truth. Has someone told
you a hard truth? Use it as a way of deepening your
relationship or to improve something about the
situation or yourself. Thank the person and recognize
their courage for telling the hard truth.
Who do you need to tell a hard truth? What hard truths
have you been avoiding telling yourself?

PROZONE
Wow! Kelley and I have found a new air purifier
superior to anything on the market. It is called
PROZONE. It is being used by many institutions,
corporations and private homes. It can eliminate 98%
of indoor pollution in only 15 minutes..as well as
dust, smoke, pollen,viruses, mold, carbon monoxide,
pet dander, dust mites, all odors and much , much
more.
It has no filters. There is nothing to clean! It
only uses 50 watts of energy. The PROZONE sends out
activated 03 oxygen like guided missiles to seek out
and destroy pollution throughout the entire area. It
even seeks out pollution behind furnishings, in
furnishings, in carpets and in clothes.
It measures 6x6x2½ inches and weighs 1½ pounds. It
purifies the air in an area up to 1000 feet. It
compares with other purifiers in the $350-$700 range.
The new technology of the PROZONE allows us to offer
it to you for just $250,plus shipping and handling.
You and your family deserve to be breathing healthier
air and enjoying better health.

DANCING WITH DEATH THRU SENILITY INTO ETERNALITY
According to Don Juan Matus, in the Castaneda books,
humanity has four stumbling blocks to overcome to
champion life. They are fear, clarity, power and old
age. Toni Delgado survived four terminal dis-eases
that manifested all at once. She created a bonafide
case of "old age" and overcame the dis-eases, senility
and death itself. Her journey and the tools she used
create an owner's manual for a thriving existence. Get
